For application with containers, IBCs, barrels or trays, the EKX-4 (2-pole) is the Grounding Control Device to choose. APPLICATION AREAS: EKX-4 (2-pole) is mounted stationary, close to the loading/unloading gantry. The Overfill Prevention Controller EUS-2 is the central part of the overfill prevention system according to European VOC Directive 94/63/EC and American API RP 1004. EUS-2 monitors the level sensors at the tanker compartments, the truck grounding and the vapor recovery connection. The filling process is interrupted immediately at the loading gantry, if a critical situation is detected. The controller is able to detect the type of truck installation and activates the required operatingmode automatically. This interoperability allows to load trucks of different carriers.

The TERRACAP TCB040 grounding system is used to ground tanker trucks. If a connection has sufficient low resistance when the grounding clamp is attached, the device discharges electrostatic charges safely via a resistor preventing spark discharge. The device then checks the capacity detected at the clamp. If the capacity for the tanker truck is correct, a green display lights up and the interlocking relay enables the pumping process. The device then forms a low-resistance connection to the ground, which prevents further build-up of electrostatic charges.

The active Eltex grounding clamps from the TERRACLAMP and the 70 series are used together with the TERRALIGHT and the Terra-Control TUE30 ground monitoring system to establish and monitor grounding connections. These devices are used when decanting or filling potentially explosive substances. Existing electrostatic changes are discharged effectively in a controlled manner. The active grounding clamps from the TERRA-C/S, TERRA-C/B, 70AG, 70BG, 70CG (only for TCB040), 70AK and 70HK series feature extremely hard and sharp collet jaws. Technical information Axial grooving is among the most technically difficult machining process in the whole field of metal removal. The RC System is screw clamped; the cutting tip is securely clamped into position so that it cannot fall out. When rough turning, grooving depths of up to 100 mm are standard. When turning larger diameters we are also able to achieve grooving depths of 150 mm.
