The encapsulated O‑ring widens the potential applications of the O‑ring. The core of the ring is made of silicone (VMQ) or fluoroelastomer (FKM). The plastic FEP (tetrafluoroethylenehexafluoropropylene) is used for the seamless encapsulation.
