The GEMÜ 1435 ePos digital electro-pneumatic positioner detects the valve position via its external travel sensor. The GEMÜ 650TL diaphragm valve is a manual tapping valve with automatic closing function which is pneumatically operated. The "keep-closed" override of manual operation is via a stainless steel handwheel. The valve can only be operated (opened / closed), if a control medium is applied to the actuator. This cleaning chamber has a special design, because the needed opening mechanism are integrated into the cleaning process. As a rule, it’s not possible to trigger containment by dismantling the double valve halves in front of the wash chamber. Thus this step must take place within the enclosed chamber.
