iglidur® flange bearing d1 [mm]: With this design it is possible to use the iglidur® high-performance bearings where housing bores with no precise tolerances are possible. The design enables high loads with minimum demand on the precision of the housing. iglidur® maintenance-free flange bearings are available in four materials - iglidur® G, iglidur® J, iglidur® X and iglidur® A180. Thus, with this design, a very wide range of applications - from the universal bearing through the highest wear resistance or temperature resistance (up to +250°C) up to FDA-compliant bearing solutions - can be covered. Installation Dependent on the stressing capacities, various mounting types are used. For low radial loads, it is enough to mount the iglidur® flange bearing with just two screws on a surface. For higher radial loads, it is advisable to support the iglidur® flange bearing in a bore on the reinforced side in the load direction. Large tolerances are permitted for this bore, as it is only to additionally support the iglidur® flange bearing. In order to support still higher radial loads, the iglidur® flange bearing can be press-fitted with the longer side in an H tolerance bore. The additional screw connection secures the firm seating of the bearing in the housing. For the mounting of the iglidur® maintenance-free flange bearing, no special tools or devices are necessary. The alignment of the bearing in multiple mounted shafts is easily possible at the installation. Wrapped composite sliding bearing steel / Special PTFE coated Maintenance-free dry sliding bearing | DIN 1494 / ISO 3547 TEF-MET/P is a versatile dry sliding bearing with PTFE sliding layer. Pneumatic Rotational Clamping Holding torque 76 Nm Direct clamping on the shaft: Rotation motions are prevented by the ACE models LOCKED R. Their clamping elements are available for shaft diameters of 50 to 340 mm and ensure maximum holding forces. The clamp is immediately applied by the diaphragm and spring-plate system when pressure is lost. Pneumatic quick-switch valves reduce the reaction times. The costs are low in comparison with hydraulic clamping systems. Their performance is, however, achieved or exceeded despite the compact and easy to assemble design. Special versions for YRT bearings as well as active clamping elements are additionally available. ACE recommends the use of the optional shaft flange as wear protection. The clamping force can be increased considerably by the use of the additional air function.

Filament-wound composite bearing with self-lubricating inner | Surface backed with a high-strength | Maintenance-free | With a sliding layer of PTFE with lubricant additives COM-KU®/M is a self-lubricating and maintenance-free plastic plain bearing. Using a heavy-duty glass fibre fabric combined with a selected binder resin helps to increase the mechanical properties, pressure further and wear resistance of this bearing type. The special lubricant additives and the PTFE in the sliding layer reduce the friction coefficient, optimising the wear behaviour and thus the material's service life as a dry sliding bearing.
