As a standard, silicone hoses are made with polyester fabric. Reinforced fabrics such as aramid (NOMEX), Kevlar or fiberglass are also available as options. There are special Viton inserts for petrol and oil. All hoses are available by the meter, elbows and reducers. Custommade molded hoses can also be produced according to customer requirements.

The POLYPAC® - Balsele is a compact rod seal consisting of an elastomeric sealing element and an integrated fabric reinforced base. Due to the radial pre-load an excellent sealing performance will be achieved even at low pressures. The fabric reinforced base prevents the seal from extrusion.

POLYPAC® - Veepac is a set of fabric reinforced Chevron rings comprising of a support ring , sealing rings and a pressure energising ring . In the packing set the energising axial force is transferred between the individual packing rings so that each ring is pressed into positive contact with the rod surface. Additional to the standard material special material grades are available for a large variety of working conditions.

Metzner has been developing and designing production machinery for tube machining for nearly three decades. Thanks to these many years of experience, today we can offer solutions that are adapted to the variety of different tube diameters and material properties. Wherever tubes have to be cut in very large quantities, impact knife machines are used. The Metzner Dynamat series achieves up to 4000 cuts per minute with one knife and, if required, an even higher cutting performance with multiple knives. Customers have the choice between "stop & go" cut or continuous cut. There are different machine sizes for materials of up to 120 mm diameter, which are prepared as standard for a wide range of peripheral equipment and knife moistening. The Dynamat machines process elastic materials reliably and with repetitive accuracy – from silicone tubes for the medical sector to fabric-reinforced tubes and profiles. No difference whether the material comes from an extruder or is unwound from a coil.

The thinnest paper yarns in the world ! Paper cable yarns are used to obtain a regular air space between the copper conductor and the paper insulation. The yarns must have an exact diameter and may not become flat being wrapped on the conductor. These fabrics possess a good tensile strength/weight ratio, have excellent flexibility and troughability, low elongation, high impact resistance and good chemical resistance. Covers: The carcass of the fabric belts is protected by covers. Cover qualities or grades are characterized by the conveyor belts’ chemical and physical properties. Inclined systems require cleats or fabric conveyor belts with grooved surfaces. Cover thickness depends on the properties of the transported material and on loading conditions. Skim layers: Rubber skim layers in the fabric conveyor belt’s carcass provide excellent adhesion between the plies and efficient distribution of tension. They also absorb impact stress caused by dropping material.
