DG Mixing process which under the application of high speeds injects enough energy into a powder quantity to create a stable compound from different types of powders and grain particles. Used, for example, for coating surfaces of one type of particle with other particles.

BORSIG patented steam superheaters are suitable for steam pressures of up to 160 bar (16,000 kPa). The steam superheaters are arranged direct in line after the waste heat boilers which are connected to the secondary reformer or reformer – depending on the process. The steam superheater can be provided as two stage or one stage, horizontally or vertically arranged. The final design arrangement is determined by the process requirements. We have delivered steam superheaters for superheating saturated steam at a pressure stage of 12,500 kPa from 328 °C to 531 °C by cooling down process gas from 723 °C to 355 °C.

Fixed protective sleeve with movable fixed coating The new patentprotected secumove coating combines the advantages of a protective sleeve and a sleeve with a fixed coating. The protective secutex coating is firmly attached to a loop of the lifting strap. The other end of the lifting strap slides freely through the sleeve and is used to equalise the lengths. secumove thereby ensures that there is no movement over “sharp edges”. No movement, no wear when nothing moves, nothing becomes worn. The service life of the newlydeveloped secumove coating is therefore significantly increased, even when used with rough loads. secumove is optionally also available with proven metal plate reinforcement for “critically sharp edges“. For these heavy duty loads, we recommend specialist onsite advice. Important uses include, for example, the careful lifting of loadbearing trusses or sheet packages and coils. secumove is not suitable for turning.

White light interferometers use infrared light in the non-visible range (approx. 840 nm wavelength), which means that the measurement position cannot be seen. To visualize the measuring position, Micro-Epsilon systems are equipped with a pilot laser which projects a light spot onto the measuring position. In addition, the pilot laser uses a patented method to provide feedback on the distance in addition to the measurement position. If the measuring object is at the correct distance and within the measuring range, a constant glow is emitted by the pilot laser. If the measuring object is outside the measuring range, the pilot laser flashes.

We developed a special process for making fine powder systems and composites from low-viscosity melts. With the patented cryo-spraying process CSP, it has become possible to produce highly sensitive products directly from a hot melt to form a solid powder without after-cooling. The entire spraying process is overlaid with nitrogen and also protects very critical substances against oxidation and thermal stress.

The patented casting resin system ALWA MOULD D consists of two resin components and an aluminium filler. The fast curing of the material allows to produce your own technologically highest quality moulds in just a few hours. As our material is very good castable, compact moulds of any desired volume can be made from our product, such as acrylic baths, boats, etc. (<1 kg – 2500 kg). In comparison to other materials (e.g., glass fibre reinforced plastic), the system is more temperature-resistant, allows castings without air bubbles and does not have to be post-cured. Furthermore, the finished mould is easy machinable (e.g., drilling, milling, grinding, planning, sawing, turning, etc.). ALWA MOULD D moulds can be modified with repair filler, so that a fresh view can be created at an early stage of a new design process and prototypes can be examined at short notice.
