Blown film consistent quality by the roll At Dürrbeck you can expect a large selection of tubular film in various widths and thicknesses and with a range of features. This variety is important as products vary in their shapes and sizes, and require different levels of protection. Plastic blown film is especially suitable for products with adjustable lengths. Blown film is typically made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). Polyethylene is affordable, durable, watertight and tear-resistant. Depending on how it will be used, we also produce plastic blown film made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). Blown film made of DKFol®-Eco and DKFol®-Eco-Coex offers especially high strength with low thickness. These films allow for a reduction in thickness, without compromising on strength and stability.

Centrefold plastic film is created by slitting blown film, which is closed on both sides, at the side or down the centre, as desired. It is basically folded flat film. Centrefold film can be used for a wide variety of packaging solutions. One good example is in the furniture industry, which uses centrefold film as furniture covers to protect pieces from dirt and dust. But centrefold film also plays a major role in product packaging in other areas such as e-commerce, the pharmaceutical industry and the textile industry. Centrefold film is mostly processed using machines – especially L sealers, for example. Centrefold film is one of the most common types of plastic film used in automatic packaging machines.

Drawstring bags are used in many different ways. Thanks to the drawstring, the bags are easy to open and to reclose. Drawstring bags are ideal for packaging of products of daily use that have to be protected from dirt and dust. Hygienic industry: Packaging for cotton, cotton pads or cotton buds. Food industry: As bread bags or as laundry bags in hotels or hospitals – drawstring bags are extremely versatile. They are also available as wicketed bags for automatic or semi-automatic packaging. To ensure safety and integrity of the content, a tear perforation can be integrated in the bag on demand. Industrial goods: Bags with drawstring are frequently used instead of cartonnages for industrial application.
