Hazardous area air warmers ATEX II 2 G IECEx & II 2 G EEx e IIC T2 – T4 ATEX The FAW range offers a versatile lightweight air warming solution for small work and storage areas located in Zone 1 and Zone 2 Hazardous Areas. The range is suitable for use with 1 phase or 3 phase power supplies up to 440 volts. The range can also be configured for use with DC power supplies.

Metzner has developed a fully automatic processing machine with outstanding cutting quality and great length accuracy for steel cable wires of up to 20 mm diameter. The steel cable wires are fed by a motorised feeding device in combination with a contact-free loop control. Then, program-controlled and positionally accurate marking tapes are applied to the steel cable – with a cycle time of less than two seconds. In addition, a wax printer marks all the fastening and processing points that will be required for subsequent processing. This labelling method is carried out in a continuous process. The cut is then made using a special cutting process. Precise length accuracy is achieved by a special laser measuring system. A material stacker with a storage area of up to 12 metres ensures that the steel cable wires are deposited in an orderly manner. All cut steel rope can be stored and sorted according to length to allow it to be removed at a later point.

This laser system is quickly set up for the welding task. The flexible laser arm can be rotated 360 ° and offers a very high or low working position. The laser head can be rotated to the left and right and the tilt-swivel lens directs the laser beam to the point desired by the operator. The robust housing has stable aluminum handles at the corners for increased impact protection of the edges. Integrated fastening options are available here for easy lashing during transport. The gas bottle can be transported during welding with a small trailer, the 5th wheel on the laser. Generous storage areas and special brackets on the machine sides ensure that tools, welding wire and whatever else is always within reach. Operation is intuitive via a touch display. Some apps help to weld surfaces, shafts and circular welds. The 450 W fiber laser can be used for pulsed welding or for welding in CW mode.

Container trolleys for boxes: This shapely and flexible trolley is solid and specifically suitable for storage and shipping areas. Its slight dimensions allow you to drive it through narrow corridors easily. Standard versions include boxes, handle on one narrow side, 4 solid rubber-tyred guide rolls (100 mm Ø), ball bearing, 2 of which featuring an arresting device. Containers with half-opened front as well as cardboard boxes of the most various sizes can take place on this solid trolley space-saving and orderly. Closed or wire sides and back walls are optionally available.
