Defects to be examined in this application are very small, their size is often lower than 0.5 mm – hard to discover by human eye. Rework in the course of the production of the final product however, proves to be complicated and expensive. Large rolls with a diameter of 2 m and a length of 10 m are very difficult to remove and to reinstall. In order to avoid corresponding inconveniencies, it is essential to support the manufacturing process of the rolls themselves by a reliable quality control in the form of an automated final inspection.As the Quelltech Q6 laser scanner features an extremely precise resolution of 4096 Pixels/Profile at a high scan rate, this model proved to be able to meet the requirements and was mounted onto the positioning stage of the grinding machine. Furthermore, an industrial measurement computer was added, used for the analysis software of the point cloud. On the basis of this configuration, the entire roll surface could be recorded on a helical path.

Our production facilities are fully up to date. Thanks to the adjustable design of our lines, we can easily implement special solutions. High-performance placement machines by ASM with short setup times and high flexibility form the backbone of our automated SMD placement systems. Our services also include assembly of THR components (pin-in-paste technology). Extensive monitoring systems and built-in cameras ensure high precision in the placement process.

Single stage devices provide at least 35 dB isolation and 85% transmission (> 43 dB and > 92% average) over individual wavelength ranges in total spanning 392.5 - 427.5 nm and 630-1400 nm.

These pumps, with their integral two stage impeller, are able to condense process vapors and to recover or dispose of the vapors. Another benefit of these pumps is that they can attain vacuum levels down to 0.8" HgA (20mmHgA). This is approximately 40 percent lower absolute pressure than a single stage pump. The NASH TC and TCM models are designed to handle large amounts of liquid carryover without difficulty. This ensures reliability under the most demanding applications.
