The K and MK draw-wire sensors are specially designed for series applications with large numbers of pieces. The user benefits from an excellent price/performance ratio and compact sensor dimensions, therefore gaining new potential in design and cost optimization. As well as analog versions with potentiometer, current or voltage output, digital versions with incremental or absolute encoders are available.

Round copper wire made from Cu-ETP1, Cu-OF1 and LEONI Histral® alloys, in bare, tin-plated, nickel-plated and silver-plated, soft annealed. Single wire diameter ranging from Ø 0.05 mm to Ø 0.254 mm. Number of wires used for strands: between 2 and 16 (subject to single-wire diameter). Single wire or multi wire on special bobbins fit for use in braiding machines. The braids manufactured by these machines are used in cables and conductors geared towards electromagnetic shielding or protection against damage as well as serving as a reinforcement.

High-precision silver-plated single wire used as core for coaxial cables. Size range from Ø 0.10 mm to Ø 1.8 mm, manufactured on a specially designed machine. HF wire is characterised by a highly constant diameter, outstanding centricity and an extremely pure surface.

ELKY special cables pass a strict manufacturing and cleaning process, in accordance with medical industry standards. Fundamentally, we only supply low twist and low tension wires and cables with a clean, high sheen, regular surface finish. We deliver manufactured products with extruded insulation made from bio-compatible materials. As well as the standard materials 1.4301 (AISI 304), 1.4310 (AISI 301), 1.4401 (AISI 316), 1.4404 (AISI 316L) and 1.4441 (AISI 316LVM), all other cabling materials authorised for use can be supplied coated and un-coated. Coated and un-coated manufactured special cables and wires made from a variety of raw materials can be used in various safety, control and attenuator elements in automotive engineering. We stock a wide, extremely varied, range of connection components in a variety of designs, sizes and materials, such as brass, tinplated copper, aluminium and stainless steel. Our products are made to customer specifications, in order to best meet their requirements (including breaking strength, elongation, flexing properties, corrosion resistance, DC resistance, low twist and low tension design, workability). Our manufacturing processes are permanently monitored and secured using appropriate procedures. As standard, we use both galvanised and stainless steel wire in accordance with DIN EN 10 264 with nominal strength of over 3000 Mpa with adequate ductility. We also use the non-corroding materials 1.4301 (AISI 304), 1.4310 (AISI 301) and 1.4401 (AISI 316) as standard.
