The new QuellTech Q5 Laser Scanner Series combines the advantages of small form factors with both high resolution and scan rate. The sensor disposes of different set-up possibilities with respect to the analysis algorithm. Measurement results are delivered via Ethernet, calibrated in the X / Z plane. Special adjustable algorithms can be selected, extremely useful particularly also for optically most demanding surfaces. Time-consuming calibration tasks for the user are no more required, as the calibration routine runs on board. High Scan Rate with up to 14,000 Profiles per Second Due to an appropriate limitation of the image range (AOI) in X and Z direction, the scan rate could considerably be increased. The thermoIMAGER TIM QVGA and TIM VGA cameras are used for stationary thermography tasks where high resolution is required. Due to their high thermal sensitivity, these cameras also detect even the smallest of temperature differences. Both standard lenses and special microscope lenses are available for the TIM QVGA and TIM VGA cameras. The microscope lens enables detailed macro shooting of the smallest of elements. High-resolution macro shooting is possible with a spatial resolution of 28 µm. The distance between the target and the camera varies between 80 mm and 100 mm.

Control of thread density / course density / basis weight The Famacont PMC determines the thread density by means of a non-contacting, optoelectronic or imaging process. With the optoelectronic process individual threads or courses pass the sensor and are projected onto the photocell using a precision optical lens. The resulting frequency is proportional to the thread count. A high-resolution camera is used with the imaging process. The image is analysed with using suitable software (FFT analysis). Both, the thread count in weft and warp direction can be determined here with maximum precision.

The requirements for the attachments are just as high as for the actual car body. The reflectCONTROL surface inspection system, familiar from car body inspection, has been adapted to the fast and high-resolution surface inspection of largely flat attachments. It recognizes and classifies the defects in an objective and repeatable way. Thanks to the large measuring field, trays can be measured in many cases in just a single capture.

he greatest challenge in the use of inductive displacement transducers is the optimization of linearity. Usual linearity deviations are around 0.30 % of the measuring range of the sensors. Values that are significantly below this can hardly be realized. With the help of the LVDT digital controller from eddylab, to which either one or two sensors can be connected, the linearity deviation of inductive displacement transducers can be almost completely eliminated. The capaNCDT 6200 is the first entirely modular multi-channel measuring system. The controller can be expanded to 4 channels and is therefore suitable for flexible applications. All capacitive displacement sensors from Micro-Epsilon can be operated using the capaNCDT 6200 controller. The HH17/19 potentiometers in Ø22 mm housing are suitable for applications where a long lifespan and very high-resolution multiturn potentiometer is important. The high-resolution precision potentiometers of the HH17/19 series have a wire-wound resistor element, which is finished with a conductive plastic layer. Thus, the so-called winding jumps are omitted and the resolution is almost infinite. Due to the smooth surface of the resistance element, the hybrid potentiometer has a significantly longer life and qualifies it as a position feedback in closed loop control circuits. The shaft diameters is Ø6,35 / Ø6.00 mm (HH17 / HH19) and is equipped with a screwdriver slot. In addition, an optional integrated slipping clutch protects the potentiometer from damage by overrunning the end stops and facilitates the zero point adjustment. The potentiometer is available in a 3, 5 or 10 turn version.
