The new QuellTech Q5 Laser Scanner Series combines the advantages of small form factors with both high resolution and scan rate. The sensor disposes of different set-up possibilities with respect to the analysis algorithm. Measurement results are delivered via Ethernet, calibrated in the X / Z plane. Special adjustable algorithms can be selected, extremely useful particularly also for optically most demanding surfaces. Time-consuming calibration tasks for the user are no more required, as the calibration routine runs on board. High Scan Rate with up to 14,000 Profiles per Second Due to an appropriate limitation of the image range (AOI) in X and Z direction, the scan rate could considerably be increased. The BH25 is a high resolution exposed linear encoder with interferometric measurement signal generation. The BH25 scale has a graduation period of 1µm. The interferometric laser scale principle generates a sinusoidal measurement signal with a signal period of 250nm in the read head. The BH25 is characterized by its small size and high signal quality. It is suitable for resolutions of up to 3.8pm. Due to the reflective scanning and the small design it is perfectly suited for high accuracy X/Y stages with linear motor drive as well as for measurement applications

The BS78 is a high accuracy exposed linera encoder with an interferometric signal generation in transmitted light design. The scale has a graduation period of 0.55µm. The LASERSCALE operating principle generates a sinusoidal measuring signal with a signal period of 138nm. This has an extremely high signal quality with a very low noise component. This allows resolutions of up to 2.1 pm to be generated. Due to the extremely low interpolation error, the BS78 is perfectly suited for ultra precision machining, measurement and calibration applications.

The BL57 is a high-resolution, exposed linear encoder with interferometric operating principle in transmitted light design. The BL57 has a graduation period of 1.6µm and generates a sinusoidal signal period of 400nm due to the laserscale operating principle. This allows resolutions of up to 6.1pm. to be achieved. Due to the high response speed of up to 3m/s, it is perfectly suited for high-precision and fast X/Y stages.

The BL50H is a high resolution exposed linear encoder in reflective design. The BL50H has a grating period of 1.6µm and generates a signal period of 400nm with the Laserscale operating principle. The extremely small dimensions, made possible by the reflective design and large mounting tolerances, allow easy integration into X/Y stages and a wide variety of measurement applications. It provides a very high signal quality with low noise level and is suitable for resolutions up to 6pm at travel speeds up to 3m/s.

The thermoIMAGER TIM QVGA and TIM VGA cameras are used for stationary thermography tasks where high resolution is required. Due to their high thermal sensitivity, these cameras also detect even the smallest of temperature differences. Both standard lenses and special microscope lenses are available for the TIM QVGA and TIM VGA cameras. The microscope lens enables detailed macro shooting of the smallest of elements. High-resolution macro shooting is possible with a spatial resolution of 28 µm. The distance between the target and the camera varies between 80 mm and 100 mm.

Interferometric angle measuring system, non-contact, open design for resolutions of up to 1.5nrad. The BH20 angle measuring system in open non-contact design is based on interferometric signal scanning. It offers extremely high resolutions and repeatability. The interferometric scanning produces an extremely high signal quality with extremely low noise.

High-resolution encoder MSA213C for drive technology The requirements for sensors used for position detection in automation and drive technology increase with the complexity and performance of the associated machines and systems. A new MSA213C high-resolution absolute sensor from SIKO is a perfect solution. It not only supplies the absolute position at any time without referencing and without requiring a backup battery, but thanks to its small design and many different interfaces, it can also be integrated into the system and control environment with very little effort.

Due to its high resolution also when measuring long distances, linear displacement measurements up to 900 mm can be carried out. Conversions between rotatory and translation movements through ball screws, wire or cord connections and so on are not necessary for direct displacement measurement. The rod is guided in a low-play floating frontal bearing. This absorbs small angular and parallel displacements.

The models of the xiB-64 series with selected Luxima, CMOSIS and GPixel sensors range from variants with 1.1 Mpix resolution and over 3,600 fps to 65.4 Mpix at 76 fps. The xiB-64 series combines high speed and high resolution in a compact package (60mm x 70mm x 40mm). The capaNCDT 6200 is the first entirely modular multi-channel measuring system. The controller can be expanded to 4 channels and is therefore suitable for flexible applications. All capacitive displacement sensors from Micro-Epsilon can be operated using the capaNCDT 6200 controller. The integrated Ethernet interface supports parameter setting and measurements via web interface. The DL6230 demodulator provides high resolution measurements. For high-speed measurements up to 20 kHz, the capaNCDT 6222 system is available.

he greatest challenge in the use of inductive displacement transducers is the optimization of linearity. Usual linearity deviations are around 0.30 % of the measuring range of the sensors. Values that are significantly below this can hardly be realized. With the help of the LVDT digital controller from eddylab, to which either one or two sensors can be connected, the linearity deviation of inductive displacement transducers can be almost completely eliminated. Control of thread density / course density / basis weight The Famacont PMC determines the thread density by means of a non-contacting, optoelectronic or imaging process. With the optoelectronic process individual threads or courses pass the sensor and are projected onto the photocell using a precision optical lens. The resulting frequency is proportional to the thread count. A high-resolution camera is used with the imaging process. The image is analysed with using suitable software (FFT analysis). Both, the thread count in weft and warp direction can be determined here with maximum precision.

The requirements for the attachments are just as high as for the actual car body. The reflectCONTROL surface inspection system, familiar from car body inspection, has been adapted to the fast and high-resolution surface inspection of largely flat attachments. It recognizes and classifies the defects in an objective and repeatable way. Thanks to the large measuring field, trays can be measured in many cases in just a single capture.
