The sheet metal components are sold to leading car producers, such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, GM, Volkswagen and Audi. Miele and other world brands are being supplied with white goods. A wide variety of very individual construction options are made possible with Vulkollan® coated components. Connections between Vulkollan® and metal can be easily created after the metal component has been pretreated. During this pretreatment, the surface of the component is cleaned and degreased using a sandblasting process. An optimal bond is then guaranteed by applying an adhesion promoter. The metal component (e.g. steel, aluminum, cast) takes on the function of the stable supporting body. The Vulkollan® coating meets high-performance requirements in terms of wear protection, damping and noise reduction. We would be pleased to advise you on which metal compounds can be used in your processing, in order to achieve top process results. Please note, other trim types are available upon request!

Oscillating frame structure In this project, TC created an oscillating, suspended double frame structure with hollow chambers for holding electrical components for a customer. The entire frame structure is free of metal. All of the components were glued together.

THE BENEFITS OF TWO WORLDS Series components made of metal with complex shapes are usually very time-consuming and expensive to put into production -- but luckily there is now a superior alternative for these kinds of demanding workpieces in the form of MIM technology from Zimmer Group! The MIM process allows us to manufacture metal parts of almost any shape using an injection molding process, as easily as though it were plastic! This process lets us elegantly combine the geometrical freedom of plastic injection molding with the outstanding rigidity and wear characteristics of metals. The result is a thoroughly impressive technology for manufacturing metallic series production components with complex shapes -- and at very attractive prices, too!

The Poppe + Potthoff impulse test stands test the operating or fatigue strength of various metal and plastic components. The endurance test in our high-pressure test systems simulates the life-cycle under varying loads. The failure tests thus show the potential weaknesses of the components with respect to design and material. The pressure is optionally modulated as a sine wave, trapezoid curve or needle pulse. Our test stands are characterized by a special ergonomics and are designed by Poppe + Potthoff machine design. Due to our flexible modular design, our machines are very variable, so that the pressure and volume range is designed according to the customer’s requirements. Of course, our systems are UL or CE compliant as required. In addition, we offer you service and support directly on-site.

This also includes the surface treatment of the manufactured parts with a painted finish of your choice. It may be more complex than other industrial painting methods, but it offers many advantages and is considerably more flexible. Our employees in the paint shop are familiar with the latest techniques and can work on constructions of up to five tonnes using the cup spray gun method. By applying a metallic protective layer to components that are susceptible to corrosion or exposed to the weather, their lifespan can be significantly increased. Grinding chips are created by the grinding of metal components. It is a mixture of metal and corundum abrasion in combination with the cutting fl uids being used. By briquetting, the waste is reduced significantly and the briquettes possess a defi ned residual moisture. Thus, the disposal costs are reducedand depending upon the alloy, there is even the opportunity to sell the briquettes with a profit. In most cases, the expensive oil contained in the cutting fl uid can be reused. The briquetting system can already payoff for itself within less than 12 months by processing about 10 to 30 tons of the expensive oil contained in the cutting fl uid per year. Depending on the requirements, our briquetting systems for grinding chips are equipped with hydraulic motors ranging from 4kW to 22kW, and reach a specifi c pressure of up to 3,800 kg/cm². The throughput of the RUF briquetting systems - especially for grinding chips - range from 40 to 350 kg/h.

The GEMÜ 660 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a stainless steel piston actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve was designed for dosing and filling a wide range of products. All metallic actuator components are made of stainless steel. Normally closed (NC), Normally open (NO) and Double acting (DA) control functions are available. Wire Belt introduces our line of PEEK drive components. PEEK is an abbreviation for PolyEtherEther-Ketone, a high performance engineering thermoplastic that can operate at high temperatures and is less abrasive on your stainless steel belts than metal drive components. PEEK can be used continuously to 250°C and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. Our PEEK line is available for all drive components including: sprockets, blanks and end rollers.

The position switches IN73 are the successful answer to an increased demand of the market. The contacts of these new series are specially designed for switching low currents. The IN73 is a hybrid because of the sophisticated fusion of metal and plastic components: All mechanically stressed components are almost completely made of metal.
