BORSIG manufactures reformed gas waste heat boilers for more than 50 years. We supply reformed gas waste heat boilers for gas inlet temperatures of up to 1,200°C and steam pressures of up to 160 bar (16,000 kPa) for petrochemical industry (ammonia plants, methanol plants, hydrogen plants, ethylene plants, styrene plants, MTBE plants, oxo-alcohol plants, direct reduction iron plants, coas gasification plants, gas to liquid plants, and others. Every reformed gas waste heat boiler is designed and manufactured exactly in accordance with the customer´s individual requirements. BORSIG offers two different designs: 1. Reformed gas waste heat boilers with BORSIG´s thin stiffened tube sheet design 2. Reformed gas waste heat boilers with thin flexible tube sheet design.

Our highly flexible vacuum hoses are produced from longitudinal seam-welded, thin-walled stainless steel tubes, which are hydraulically formed in special-purpose machines. Our vacuum hoses are specifically cleaned after metal forming, during processing protected from uncleanness and prior to dispatch shrink-wrapped. Furthermore, all vacuum hoses will be leak tested prior to dispatch, by means of helium leak testing with up to 10E-8 mbar*l/s.

The roller brush type 964 is made of single section brushes mounted together on a core up to the required face width. This roller brush type can be mounted on cores made from stainless steel, plastic coated steel, or mild steel. Kullen-Koti recommends especially this brush type for heavy-duty operations with a high dense brush surface, e. g. by using our single section brushes with twisted steel knots (Type Z-SH). But we can manufacure the single section in almost all other fill material types. For mounting the single section brushes on the core or by the operator himself on the existing primary shaft, we use our fixing ring (FRB / scew nut (MB) system. The single section brushes are available in 10 particular series-diameter (KD.) WARP 100 is an inline pipe measuring system for wall thickness and diameter measurement at up to 38 measuring points and 19 axes. More than 1100 measurements per second guarantee a gapless measurement. This is particularly important for pipes with high quality requirements, such as pressure or gas pipes. The maximum line speed for 100% coverage is up to 11.8 m/min. WARP 100 is available in three sizes and can be used for measurement in the diameter range from 25 to 630 mm. Measured variables such as wall thickness, diameter, ovality, eccentricity as well as process conditions (e.g. sagging) are precisely recorded, documented, and further used for automatic process control. The 2M connector was developed for thin pipes such as capillary tubes with an outside diameter from 0.7 to 6.35 mm. It consists of a sealing cone which is pushed into the matching inner cone of the connector and acts as a bushing for the pipe while performing a sealing function. An additional O-ring, which is protected from damage by a pressure disc, holds the pipe in place and prevents it from being pulled out accidentally.

Conventional thermometers measure the temperature by means of length or volume change of a material, and are only suitable as display instrument. Temperature sensors from Lenord+Bauer use resistance thermometers that feature an almost temperaturelinear resistance curve, and output the resulting measurement data as electrical signal. They are suitable for a measurement range from 40 °C to +250 °C. A thin stainless steel tube protects the electronics from dirt, humidity and corrosion, allowing the sensors to meet the requirements of protection class IP 68. Due to change in weather (wind, sun, snow...), pipe systems of solar thermal systems are subject to thermal expansion, to vibration, to make in short; various movements that have to be compensated in order to keep the system stable. Mera Bellows manufactures stainless steel expansion joints, formed from thin-walled seam-welded tubes, that are widely used for this scope of application.
