The Gronemeyer revolving storage is the space-saving solution for storing solid, cube-shaped general cargo. The storage process occurs in cycle operation. The products move into the machine batch-by-batch and are stored vertically in compartments. The machine works according to the First In-Last Out principle. Vacuum degassing / outgassing With the aid of vacuum outgassing, unpleasant tastes or odors can be degassed and thus rendered tasteless. Altitude simulation For aircraft transport, it is essential to perform tests and simulations at a pressure <800 mbar, since in cargo holds, pressure equalization takes place, but cannot compensate for all fluctuations. Vacuum storage systems The safest way to store highly sensitive components is under vacuum. Under the vacuum environment, your components are protected from all external influences. Control and process control Our specially developed control program offers not only the possibility to monitor, but also to program and store various process sequences. AMZ stands for automated material loading. AMZ enables automated loading of metal bars into our punching machines. Different materials types (thickness/width) can be processed successively. This only requires a short manual intervention when changing the type of metal bars, which allows for an ideal preparation of the production process. As soon as the machine has been started, the operator no longer needs to deal with feeding in the material, and can sort and further process the production parts during this time. The AMZ can also be seen as a small intermediate storage facility.

Storing or relocating the bars is fully automated by the Gantry System. It offers the operator the option to simultaneously store multiple different materials. The punching machine is automatically loaded with the stored materials depending on the order. As with other EHRT software solutions, the stock quantities and status of the gantry can be checked both at the machine and remotely from an office. This leads to a significant reduction in manpower requirements at the machine. Like the stock status, current orders can be traced from the office as well as the machine. Orders to the gantry related to storing, relocating, or retrieving materials and loading for production jobs can be executed simultaneously. The gantry can replace an existing material storage facility.

This storage system is mainly used in workshops and production areas. It allows clearly ordered storing and an entangling-free unwinding. Due to lockable rollers, the system can be used mobile or stationary. Note: Only suitable for manual unwinding! Further combinations of storage units available on request!

ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE, MAINTENANCE FREE AND PROTECTED AGAINST EXTERNAL EFFECTS The pressureless gas storage system of Lipp is used for the storage of gas produced on landfill sites, waste water treatment plants and also as external storage on biogas plants. The system is determined by its robust and technical advanced construction where the gas balloon is protected by a galvanized steel tank. This protects the balloon against UV light and also other external factors. The system is mostly utilized at landfill sites or WWTP to buffer the gas before its further processing. The experience gained during the past decades has improved the complete system and the single components and makes it a perfect choice for end users and general contractors.

Beside the protection against external effects as UV or other external effects which could damage the foil, the unique construction enables a reliable and measureable leak test as well as an accurate filling level measurement at all times. Compared to low pressure systems and double membrane gas accumulators the Lipp system has very low operation and maintenance costs.

Universal use for a wide range of applications Ice stores are used in more and more areas of technology. In addition to the classic areas of application in refrigeration, air conditioning and commercial kitchen technology, ice storage systems and cold water systems are increasingly being used in process engineering systems. Cold water for subsequent production processes is generated with ice storage tanks. Ice storage systems thus provide stored cold. Use of cheap night electricity tariffs With the help of ice storage technology, cheap nighttime electricity tariffs can be used. During the night, ice is continuously built up on the plates or on the pipe coils. This ice is then available during the day as stored cooling capacity. This can significantly reduce energy costs. The cooling units can also be made smaller when using ice storage systems.

One or several TWS take over products or complete load carriers such as pallets in the high-bay shelf storage area. The TRAPO Warehouse Lift (TWL) receives a TWS in order to store and retrieve in the storage lanes via a rail system at different levels. The TWS covers three metres per second at an acceleration rate of 1.5m/s² and completes the cycle of driving out, gripping and driving in in a maximum of three seconds.

LIPP® Gas Accumulators were developed as a system for the nonpressurised storage of dry gas which has been used for over 300 projects worldwide over the past years or more. Sizes from 30 to 5000 m³ are available according to the gas yield in each case. The gas accumulator consists of two parts a bubbleshaped storage balloon and a steel container to protect the balloon against mechanical damage and the effects of weathering. Speciality Accurate level measure of stored gas. In biological processes, gas production is not continuous. That is why the utilisation of gas (e.g. in a combined heat and power plant) requires an accumulator in order to compensate for fluctuations during gas production and to bridge downtimes for plant repairs and maintenance. Besides high functional and operating safety, other important criteria for the construction and operation of gas tanks include the economic aspects of investment and maintenance costs.

Cantilever racking systems are highly load-bearing storage systems intended for storage of long and/or bulky storage materials. Such goods include timber, wooden boards, metal sheets, sections, beams or steel elements, building materials but also scrap cars and all kinds of heavy loads. Cantilever racking by OHRA is distinguished from standard racks using solid steel sections for all load-bearing elements. Thanks to this slim construction of our racks a high storage capacity can be achieved across a small floor space. There are specific types of cantilever racks for every product and for every industry. They differ based on requirements, height, useable depth, load-bearing capacity or section thickness. All cantilever racking are produced individually according to customer requirements; they are equipped with a high-quality powder coat or hot-dip galvanised for outdoor storage.

Flexible or durable! The modular coil storage system (patent pending) is designed for flexible use as a coil mat or, in combination with the side tubes, for the permanent storage of coils and slit steel steel. With the coil mat, temporary storage can be set up quickly or existing warehouses can be expanded in the case of a bottleneck. Application Rollers are particularly well suited to the transport of light conveyed material with a smooth and stable underbody. They are used in roller strips, roller tracks, flexible roller conveyors and curved conveyors. They are used in push-through rack storage systems, as deflectors and guide tracks as well as for interlinking different conveyance systems. Load The load-bearing capabilities can be found in the table of dimensions under the “Roller” tab. The conveyance speed of Schulz rollers is up to 2 m per second.

Temperature control of liquids Tube coil heat exchangers (so-called tube cooling coil heat exchangers) are generally used to control the temperature of liquids. This system can also be used to heat or cool liquids in a controlled manner. Due to their special shape, pipe coil heat exchangers are sometimes also called hairpin heat exchangers. Inexpensive applications The simple and solid structure enables it to be used in cost-effective applications. Coiled tube evaporator systems are ideally suited for brine and glycol applications. Classic variant Coiled tube evaporator systems are a classic and proven variant in the field of heat exchanger systems. Coiled tube heat exchangers are often used in ice storage systems or in the production of cold water units. In ice storage systems, coils can be used to achieve an even build-up of ice around the coils.

LIPP welded tanks are erected using the LIPP Welding Technology, a unique method of construction enabled by a custom automated rig designed and manufactured by LIPP. This procedure can claim a number of advantages over other traditional welding methods. Firstly, the unique steel profile increases stability and so reduces material costs at the same time. Secondly, the automated endless tape process continually welds layers below in a rotational cycle and reduces the number of on site workers. LIPP Welding Technology enables welding both black steel and stainless steel of different grades, allowing numerous applications. SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR THE STORAGE OF CEREAL PASTE AND SUGAR BEET Lipp plans and sells storage systems for biomass such as cereal paste or sugar beet under the brand names LIGAVATOR and BETAVATOR. These systems are generally gas tight and both roof and container base (optional) are made of solid stainless steel, since the stored media can give rise to very aggressive juices and gases. With this type of storage the substances are preserved and can be used over a very long period. Automatic withdrawal and substrate delivery can also be installed in the following systems by an appropriate control system. APPLICATION EXAMPLES AND REFERENCES In addition to pure crop storage, the Lipp LIGAVATOR / BETAVATOR systems are mainly used as substrate storage for agricultural or industrial biogas plants, and are installed before the fermenter for appropriate substrate supply. They allow largely automated control of a biogas plant, as there is no need for a regular manual substrate supply.
