Hot rolled steel products are rolled from casting slab and produced as a coil. We are supplying materials with thicknesses between 1-25mm and width up to 2000mm as a coil, slitted or cut to length sheets. Our stock includes hot rolled sheet materials produced according to EN 10025-2, EN 10028-2, EN 10149-2, SAE J403, ASTM A283, EN 10083-2, ASTM A1011, EN 10111, EN 10025-4, DIN 1614- 1 and others.

Cutting and sawing The secutex material can be sawed with a conventional band saw. The material tries to avoid the cutting tool. Make sure that the wedge angle is as small as possible and adjust the cutting speed if necessary. Milling Use commercially available milling cutters with a small number of teeth. Cold rolled steel sheets are produced by re-rolling process of hot rolled steel sheets in order to provide precise thickness distribution across the coil. The surface roughness of the cold rolled materials is lower compared to hot rolled steels and suitable for painting and coating applications. According to the customers demands, it can be supplied in coil, slitted and cut to length sheet form. Our stock includes cold rolled steel sheet materials produced according to EN 10130, EN 10268, EN 10338, EN 10209 and others.

In order to increase the corrosion resistance of the steel sheet, galvanizing or electrolytic coating is applied to the surface. The coating is generally applied in 100-300g/square meter on both surfaces. Chromate solution or oil applied to the surface of the coated material is applied to protect it against white rust.

Cold rolled steel is low carbon steel produced by a "cold rolling" process and processed at near normal room temperatures. Cold rolled steel offers superior strength and machinability. Cold rolled steel sheets are often used for engineering products where close tolerances, concentricity, surface smoothness and coated surfaces are required.
