Elastomeric wipers/scrapers are used in combination with the MANOY® sliding ring, the MANOY® U‑Cup or other rod seals.

The standard version is universally usable, but in special cases the light version can offer additional advantages. The light version is suitable for tight installation conditions and is also easier to fit in nonsplit grooves.This version reduces the friction. The low compression reserve with a negative effect on large tolerances must be considered.

More space to work – let the rods out! In particular applications, it can be necessary that the rod leaves the clamping head, e.g. for reasons of accessibility or restrictions regarding space that do not allow a rod that is permanently in place. Especially in applications where moulds are closed and kept closed against high forces with the SITEMA PowerStroke, it is a big advantage when the rod can leave the clamping head. Thus, the rods are no obstacle when taking finished parts out of the mould or when handling parts. With certain modifications, most of our series can be adapted as special designs to allow the rod leaving and re-entering the clamping head. They are designed with a large clearance in the standard product, which enables a secure operation even under high peripheral speeds. The bore of the inner ring has a tolerance according to E10. The shafts should have a tolerance between h6 and h9. Please contact us in case you require lower or more bearing tolerances. Loads igubal® rod end bearings take high forces in normal ambient temperatures, have excellent dampening properties and weigh only a fifth of the conventional metallic bearing housing. In particular cases the load carrying capacity of the rod end bearings should be checked in a practical trial especially with high constant loads and at higher temperatures. Coefficients of surface friction and speeds Rotary motions of the mounted shaft take place directly in the bearing ball made of iglidur® W300. The advantage of this plastic/steel plain bearing is that high speeds can be achieved in dry operation. Taking the radial loads into account, maximum surface speeds up to 0.5 m/s rotating can be attained. The maintenance-free igubal® rod end bearings casually permit linear and oscillating movements of the shaft. Delivery program igubal® rod end bearings are available in the dimensional series K and E for shaft diameters of 2 to 30 mm in all dimensions according to DIN ISO 12240, and of course respectively in the Form A - with male thread and Form B - with female thread The dimensional series K and partly E are moreover available in inch dimensions and – as special version – with a stainless steel sleeve in the spherical ball. Thereby an essentially higher tightening torque is possible than with the plastic spherical ball. The MBS hydraulic cylinders of the MZR-1004 series are synchronized cylinders for use as actuating and control cylinders. All cylinders work with low friction and run stick-slip-free. The connection is made via a head flange attachment and a threaded attachment on the piston rod. For flexible use, fittings for pipe fittings according to BSPP ISO 1179-2 and venting connections are available on both sides. Lift and piston rod protrusion are also variable selectable. Our cylinders are prepared for use with position sensor and position monitoring. With the exception of the piston rod and the centering surfaces, the entire cylinder is protected against corrosion with a black primer. On request alternative surface treatments are possible.
