The pharmaceutical and biotech industry involves a wide range of mixing tasks, for which precision and consistence are of utmost importance. Particles must be evenly suspended and homogenized in liquids for filling processes. In some cases, multiple processes, such as for example heat transfer, rapid mixing, or material transport, must take place simultaneously within one reactor. Specific requirements are often placed on the drives, if for example production is carried out under clean room conditions. The surface quality of the stirring elements must always meet the highest standards; they are therefore usually electropolished. Our agitator solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry are engineered and manufactured to customer-specific requirements. Selection of the agitator, as well as of the drive and sealing concepts, depends on the process and customer specifications. We will provide all the necessary design calculations, or simulate the mixing process.

Particularly in the automotive industry there are currently tests underway to virtually simulate production processes with the help of real models. Laser scanners of Z+F deliver the required 3D data in order to generate such models. Film industry Virtual reality plays a key role in the film industry: special effects (e.g. explosions) can be carried out with digital technology without any danger to the people involved or real objects (buildings, historical monuments, vehicles etc.). Nowadays we can see film scenes that were unthinkable a few years ago. Computer/Gaming Whether in computer games or the internet – virtual reality in this area is here to stay. It does not matter whether real objects are represented virtually or fantasy worlds are created with the help of real objects. With Z+F laser data, both is possible.

Existing factory workshops and industrial plants can be surveyed three-dimensionally in detail. For new buildings, further extensions and reconstruction in the future, there are spatial coordinates available which are accurate to a millimeter, from which two-dimensional construction plans can easily be drawn. Generation of 3D models From the data gathered by Z+F laser scanner systems and with the LFM software, 3D models of the actual state of the factory or plant (e.g. tubes, steel girders) can be generated. Furthermore, it is possible to generate complete CAD models from the 3D scan data (the so-called point cloud). Clash detection It is possible to simulate manufacturing processes and to carry out collision checks with 3D models. Example: Another production robot of the same type has to be added to an existing plant. Facility management All fixed equipment like cables or tubes is surveyed as well and saved in a 3D database which serves as the basis for future reconstruction.

The basic version enables the presentation of simple dry, mechanical processes focused on crushing and screening.
