The electronic temperature switch of BEDIA is fitted with thin-film resistor Pt 1000 in a bridge circuit. This sensor element provides close switch point tolerances and a quick response. Switch point and reset hysteresis may be selected within the admissible operating range when ordering so as to allow the monitoring of both very wide and very close temperature ranges. The switching output is protected from short-circuit and overload. The short-circuit current is limited by the output transistor switching off inthe event of a fault. It will automatically reset as soon as the fault has been remedied. The switch is available with ground-connected, plus-connected or potential-free DC switching output. The switch is open in the event of power failure or disconnection of the power supply, independed of the switching function. It is available both as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) switch.

These high-power bimetal operated temperature switches are available either with normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) contact configuration. The robust round metal enclosure accommodates a resilient preloading disk, a bimetal disk and a silver contact. The compact switch system is covered by means of a plate which also carries a silver contact and is isolated from the enclosure by means of an isolating washer. The resilient preloading disk ensures excellent performance. The resilient preloading disk keeps the contact pressure constant throughout the entire temperature range of the BEDIA switch until switching occurs. The mechanically and electrically unloaded bimetal disk snaps over at a preset temperature, with either opening or closing the contact arrangement. The bimetal will only snap back to its initial condition after the temperature has dropped significantly.

The UMC Modular Housing can hold several UMC Generators in a small space. It is available in two sizes and equipped with I/O interface, cover plate and power switch.

The frame solenoid can be installed in any position, with the force preferably being applied in the axial direction only. It is fastened via threaded holes on the side or on the face. As standard, the frame linear solenoid has a chemically nickel-plated armature and a plastic-molded solenoid coil and has protection class IP 40. Versions with bellows achieve protection class IP54. Other voltages are possible on request.

The amplifier module model 9243 is used wherever measurement signals from strain gauges, potentiometric sensors or DC/DC sensors have to be converted into standard signals. Simply by mounting on conventional DIN-mount rails, it is possible to position the amplifier module on location, in the proximity of the sensor. Especially for rough environments a IP65 version is available. The broad auxiliary power range and the choice between AC or DC permits operation on standard power supplies used in switch gear cabinets. A highly precise reference voltage source is built-in for calibration purposes. A calibrating shunt can also be connected via two separate terminals. This permits deliberate detuning of a strain gauge sensor for calibration or merely to check the measuring chain.

The aluminium pressure die-cast protective shroud (F3: aluminium sand casting) fully shields the pedal at the top and sides while the wide base provides a high degree of stability. The PowerSeal sets new benchmarks for high-speed encapsulation of chip modules: extremely compact and powerful, with a throughput of up to 40,000 modules/hour using two 16-fold dispensing heads and UV LED curing technology. UV LED curing saves production cost by lower energy consumption and long LED lifetime without aging. The curing is much faster compared to standard UV discharge lamps and the start-up time is reduced by providing full power directly after switching on.
