Westfälsche Drahtindustrie GmbH uses highly efficient plant technology at its Salzgitter site to produce cold-ribbed reinforcing steel (CR) in rings and coils, as well as structural steel mesh. Thanks to special wire rod primary material for our CR products, which we have developed in close cooperation with our suppliers, our reinforcing wire achieves first-class technical values, particularly in terms of elongation and the Re/Rm ratio The advantages for the user: easy processing and dimensional accuracy of the hangers. Seamless quality monitoring from the wire rod to the finished product by our own quality centre and our external monitoring centre (MPA Dortmund) guarantees the highest level of lasting quality and safety.

The central product of WDM Deutenberg are spot-welded wire meshes according to individual specifications. There are four different wire materials used to produce our wire meshes and wire mesh elements: bare wire, galvanized wire, aluminium galvanized wire and stainless steel wire. Our spot-welded wire meshes have different sizes from 300 x 250 mm to 8,000 x 2,400 mm depending on mesh width and wire diameters. Mesh widths between 20 mm x 20 mm minimum and 150 mm x 150 mm maximum and diameters from 2.0 mm to 18.0 mm are possible. The scope of application of our spot-welded wire meshes is very diverse. They are used in industries such as landscaping, agriculture, engineering, shopfitting, metalworking, food industry, electrical industry, construction industry or retail. In order to meet the demands for robustness and efficient heat output, we have embroidered the heating element on a glass mesh fabric carrier material. Between the meandering arrangement of the heating strands, we integrate a recess for the temperature switch in the CAD layout. In addition, a second wire is laid concurrently as a PTC thermistor for the electrical connection of the safety switch. After the technical embroidery process, the safety switch is inserted and connected by our company’s respective department. Each prefabricated element is tested for functionality and performance in the final inspection and is delivered to the customer after passing the test. As a semi-finished product, the infrared heating element on glass mesh fabric can be further processed by the customer, e.g. in connection with silicone, rubber or epoxy resin.

Our wide selection of different types of filter cartridges offers you the greatest possible flexibility. FTJ filter cartridges have maximum dirt holding capacity and are suitable for large volume flows as well as complex filtration processes. Stainless steel cartridge Type: MG

Different mesh sizes with open areas of 60% max. make Forbo mesh belts ideal processing belts for cleaning, drying, filtering and cooling. The belts can be supplied in different versions, for example with reinforced belt edges, with fibre-glass or Kevlar-fabric, with tracking- and lateral-profiles.

Damping cushions made of stainless steel are knitted and pressed in a special process. Depending on size, density and design it can be loaded in a range between 5 and 20.000 kg. It can be pressed in cylindrical or rectangular shape. Versions with bunches and steps are available. Standard materials are 1.4301 and 1.4404. Additional materials and special designs are on demand. With the MiJET part cleaning system it is possible to keep workplaces clean and workpieces hygienically cleaned with the simplest technology. An electrical connection is not necessary. Only a compressed air connection is required to use the device. Application The actual task of the MiJET is to filter oily air. Chips of the work pieces accumulate in the container. Operators often tend to blow off finished workpieces into the machine. This quickly results in dirty working environments and poor air in the production hall. However, we avoid this by exhausting these fumes. Oils are trapped from the exhaust air and chips and coolants accumulate in the container.
