In linguistic usage occasionally the terms coil heaters, nozzle heating elements, hot runner heating elements, cable nozzle heaters are used. Our HotMicroCoil heating elements can be used in a wide variety of applications. Their high level of plasticity ideally suits them to the heating of hot runner nozzles and for accurately heating the contours of three-dimensional surfaces. Many of our customers order HotMicroCoil elements in their unformed state of mineral insualted cable heaters and perform the subsequent shaping work themselves, while others commission us to shape and fit the heating cable elements. A large number of ready-to-fit heating solutions are available for plastic injection nozzles with clamping mechanisms, housing bezel, reflection tube or heat conduction sleeve.

Owing to their small cross-sectional dimensions, MicroCoils are most often connected at both ends and do not permit the addition of a thermocouple. We prefer to use nickel as the sheath material here because it combines the best thermal conduction properties, high corrosion resistance and excellent deformation properties. To ensure that the standard 1000 mm PTFE-insulated connection cable can be positioned at one end, despite the standard two-ended connection of the element, in most cases the MicroCoil is formed into a hairpin shape and wound/laid in a bifilar (parallel) format. Our unformed MicroCoils are also supplied in the hairpin bend shape as standard.

Based on its specifications, this device can be used in various applications. It is especially suitable for resistance measurement on insulating materials such as e.g. cable insulations, foils, textiles, surfaces, insulating liquids, etc. With a test voltage of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V the device fulfi ls most test specifi cations such as e.g. DIN 51953, 53482 and 54345. The guard switching allows single resistance measurements in a triangle wiring. This could be e.g. a two line cable with common shield or the measurement of insulating materials on a guardring measurement cell. The selection of the measurement range is done manually or automatically. Fast subsequent measurements can be realized by the internal limit value indicator. When the measured value exceeds the limit the limit value indicator switches and activates a potential-free relay output. The megohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 24508 is the right instrument for its use in laboratory as well as in industrial applications.

CSN® copper and nickel are temperatureresistant connecting cables for internal wiring of electric household appliances such as hotplates, glass ceramic plates, grill appliances or storage heaters. In industrial applications CSN® Cables are preferably used for the wiring of heating elements, heating cartridges, tubular heaters, panel heaters, and quartz radiators. We manufacture these singlecore cables in cross sections up to 6 mm². Owing to their high temperature resistance up to 250 °C in the case of glass silk insulation and 600 °C in the case of mineral fibre insulation, these connecting cables meet the most demanding requirements.

The angle encoders without integral bearing (modular angle encoders) ERP, ERO and ERA consist of two components—a scanning head and a graduation carrier, which must be aligned with each other during mounting. The eccentricity of the shaft as well as installation and adjustment therefore have a decisive effect on the achievable accuracy. Modular angle encoders are available with various graduation carriers. The vacuum-compatible encoders are distinguished by the following features: • Air vents • Production in a clean room • Specialized cleaning and packaging • Cable with PTFE insulation and tin-plated copper braiding
