With Conventional Feed Lines, the focus lies on speed and material surface. That’s why Conventional Feed Lines are equipped with a Coil Reel for pull-off, a Straightener with variable frequency drive a coil loop and a Servo Roll Feed: the loop uncouples the more inert straightening process from the highly dynamic indexing process and thus allows for high line speeds and preservation of the material surface. Since productivity and capacity demands can vary significantly, we have created different control concepts: while small Feed Lines work with a simple pneumatic drag brake at the Coil Reel and an ultrasonic sensor to control the Straightener speed, the large Feed Lines get fully synchronized controls with motor-limited Coil Reels and a smart loop, creating a steady average speed of the whole line. This allows smooth pull-off of high coil weights while the loop remains very calm – in addition, the Servo Roll Feed can work with full dynamics, even at long indexing progressions.

The noise levels in pipe and rod raising systems can be very high. A chute lined with secutex pipe modules ensures that noise levels are reduced and that surfaces are protected. The secutex material with inset perforated plates is particularly wearresistant and cushions the movement of pipes and rods very well. The cast sections are attached using drilled attachment holes. Segment sizes and joins are manufactured according to client requests.

The ultrasonic actuators of the TWINLINE product line are used for solving weld tasks with a Herrmann Ultrasonic 20 kHz twin sonotrode. The finely tuned twin-stack is mounted on a carriage. The travelling circular knife machine CCM 6 cuts rigid profiles and tubes accurately to length. The CCM 6 achieves very long processing times of several seconds for excellent "final trim quality" thanks to a standard servo linear drive for the tool carrier, and at the same time extremely short cycle times of less than one second for machining short parts at high line speeds. Added to this is the servo linear drive for circular knife feed with different feed speeds for different material sections, e.g. a gentle material penetration or knife exit with low feed to reduce burr formation. High speed ranges As far as the knife speed is concerned, we offer you outstanding possibilities of alternatively 2,000 – 6,000 rpm or 4,000 – 12,000 rpm. This means that there are no limits to the use of various types of circular knives, including clamping and grinding in continuous operation.
