This sensor for measuring exhaust gases was developed together with a Formula 1 team. The goal was to achieve the greatest possible reliability during the race. The sensor was designed so that it can withstand a maximum of vibrations and extreme temperatures while being made in a highly compact construction at the same time. The special feature is the connection lead. It is not made from the usual mineral-insulated stainless steel sheathed line, which is too rigid and which tends to vibration fractures. Instead, the line is made of stranded conductors with PTFE insulation and an additional heat shield so it can be easily and flexibly adapted to the environment. The sensor is being used with exceeding success by professional teams in long distance races, American race series and the domestic DTM. This plug-in sheathing thermocouple is recommended for measuring the temperature in the exhaust gas flow. It is genuinely multipurpose, mounting with the cap nut means the thermocouple does not need to be rotated, which simplifies installation and fast replacement. In addition, it has “motor sports genes” such as vibration resistance, fast response time and high temperature resistance. If you want to build a twoflow exhaust system, you need a Y pipe. There are Y pipes with three equal pipe diameters or as Y reducers.

Bentley-Harris® Textalu 1202 is an insulative fiberglass sleeving with a heavy aluminum coating designed to protect components in high temperature areas. It provides superior insulation to components that must maintain stable temperatures to assure performance efficiency. Textalu 1202 is used on wire harnesses, sensor control wiring and cable assemblies in close proximity to engines and exhaust systems. Due to its elastic structure, Textalu 1202 conforms well to the variable profiles of the components it protects. Its braided construction allows good flexibility in temperatures as low as -50°C. The infra-red emissivity rating of Textalu 1202 heavy aluminum coating, combined with its fiberglass braid, ensures temperature stability inside the Textalu sleeving despite frequent external temperature fluctuations due to radiant heat.

SL 800 provides optimal protection against wear and is suitable industry-wide. It contains premium active ingredients with long- lasting effects. The special lubricant protects all metal friction surfaces that are exposed to extreme temperatures and is there- fore suitable for use at temperatures of up to around 800ºC (to around 200ºC with dry lubrication) and will withstand cold down to around -35ºC. SL 800 prevents corrosion, oxidation, freezing, galling and wear. Preformed silicone heaters are useful for diamters as small as 12 mm and up to 100 mm. Rounded silicone heaters are not possible with self-adhesive foil. Spiral Wrap Pre-Formed Silicone Rubber Heaters are suitable for tubes and flexible pipes and hoses with Ø 6,35 mm (1/4"). Spiral formed flex heaters can be used up to Ø 12 mm (the length of the stretchable silicone spiral wrap heater is reduced accordingly). The thickness of our spiral-wrapped silicone strip heaters is 2,2 mm. Also our gas and pump line heaters, most frequently used in the semi-conductor process, are shaped and pre-formed according to the object geometry to be heated. They are designed to regulate temperatures in order to prevent condensation in the line. Current applications here are Semi Conductors, Vacuum Chambers, Wafer Chucks, Valves, Exhaust & Pump Systems.

AUTOSOL® ANTI BLUE Thanks to the clever combination of chemical effectiveness and mechanical polishing performance, even stubborn blue and brown discoloration on stainless steel exhaust systems is effectively removed and the exhaust regains its silver shine. The product can be applied sparingly and in a targeted manner without the hassle of masking. Corrosion inhibitors reduce material stress to a minimum.

EGE flow sensors for gaseous mediums without integrated amplifier permit the space-saving flow measurement on site and the comfortable setting of the limit value using separate amplifier, e.g. within a control cabinet. The measurement takes place without mechanically moving parts using a thermal measuring element. The current flow state is displayed at the amplifier using LEDs. The devices are used wherever a safe, robust and low-maintenance monitoring of flow values is required. This includes e.g. air conditioning technology, monitoring of exhaust air systems and ventilation monitoring.
