Working Principle: The counterbore is machined to the preset depth by the simultaneous application of both a rotary and vertical or horizontal feed motion to the carbide cutting insert. While the cutting insert rotates in a circle around the counterbore, a feed gear mechanism ensures a continuous feed motion. The lathe-type refacing action provides smooth and closely fitting contact surfaces for oversize valve seat rings. Features: The motor drive unit of the VD4HD-ADM is identical with the motor drive unit of the VD4HD Valve Seat Refacing Machine and, therefore, is only required, if no VD4HD is at hand. Two types of exchangeable boring gear heads are available. The standard AV boring head is provided with a vertical slide for counterboring. The optional AVH boring and facing head is provided with a vertical and a horizontal slide for counterboring and facing the bottom of the bore.

Highly versatile: The MultiFace H45 PRO4 and P45 PRO8 face-milling cutters enable high material removal rates even on lower performance machines. This is achieved with the highly positive cutting edge geometry of the MultiFace H45 PRO4, which has four cutting edges per indexable insert, as well as the positive cutting edge geometry of the MultiFace P45 PRO8 with its eight cutting edges. The easy cutting cutters can therefore be used for many different applications.

The coating of the newly developed CopyMax®2 insert from LMT Kieninger is Nanomold Gold, which is already an indication of top performance in mold and die making. The copy milling insert itself has a new construction design. It has improved cutting and material properties as well as a fully functional second cutting edge. When the first cutting edge is worn, the insert can be turned over and re-used with the same long tool life. For the abandonment of Offshore structures special legal requirements apply. Tubes have to be deconstructed under the seabed. This requires special technologies. Our Downhole Cutting Heads (DCHs) can be inserted into tubes and casings over an umbilical from the working platform. Arriving at the destination they clamp in the tubes and perform a 360 degrees cut which severs the tube underneath the seabed. The DCH is pulled out and afterwards the pulling of the tube is possible. Cuttings can be performed up to 150 m (500 ft) deep and pipe sizes between 7” and 72” diameter, whereby the wall thickness can be up to 20” thick. For every requirement we offer the appropriate DCH. By extensions nearly every kind of pipe/tubing/casing can be cut.

TYP C 043/BS Cutting, stamping and bending device for axial components Description To facilitate the placement of short axial leaded components that must be cut before insertion into the circuit board to the appropriate length and bent to the required height and - are marked - if necessary. This axial taped components are processed in high- components. The machine type C 043/BS can be adjusted using the adjustment spindles cutting length and the embossing position. The setting is displayed on the relevant scale of the device. Optionally can be monitored through a digital display setting. The embossing tool is specifically for connecting pins and is manufactured according to customer requirement. The machine can be upgraded for the various tools. The taped components are fed into the machine and processed automatically. The transport speed is infinitely variable. The tool change for other forms of bending takes about 5 minutes. Components

TYP C 044/S Cutting, stamping and bending device for axial components Description To facilitate the placement of short axial leaded components that must be cut before insertion into the circuit board to the appropriate length and bent to the required height and - if necessary - marked . This axial taped components are processed in high- components. In the device 044 C / S to be bent, the components are manually inserted into the device and processed by triggering the pneumatic foot switch. The high- axial component can be provided either at one or at both terminal wires with a bead for preventing falling out of the printed circuit board according to the manual setting operation. Components

ZINNER PKD or highly positively polished cutting inserts are used for machining aluminium and copper. Glass-fibre reinforced materials are machined with PKD or coated PKD tools. Diamond tools are ideally suited for the high gloss turning of non-ferrous metals.

CBN (cubic boron nitride) is the next hardest material after diamonds. When properly used, tools made from CBN exhibit considerably less wear than other materials. Cutting inserts or even VHM tools can be equipped with CBN. Technical application: Hardened tool steels with hardnesses greater than 55 HRC or high speed steels (HSS) can be machined without problems using CBN. Case hardened steels and chilled cast iron can also be machined with CBN. Non-ferrous metals are totally unsuitable for CBN; diamond tools are needed for these.

Technical information: Disc milling cutters are ideally suited for machining long, deep grooves quickly and cost-effectively. It is also possible to incorporate disc milling cutters into a set and cut several grooves at the same time. Tool systems: The Zinner RC disc milling cutter can efficiently machine deep grooves with depths from 1.6 mm to 8.0 mm. If necessary, they can also be used for parting. The cutting tips of the RC disc milling cutter and be customised to meet almost every customer requirement. The SPM 03 disc milling cutter can cover a range of cutting widths from 8.0 -20 mm; this variant is equipped with left and right cutting inserts.

The most common form of milling is face milling; an extremely wide range of tools can be used for this process, ranging from a HSS milling cutter through to high speed milling cutters with cutting inserts in many different shapes and geometries. Several points must be watched in high speed milling and therefore a progressive cut should be preferred. The entry radius is crucial and this should therefore be programmed on entry and exit. It is particularly important that the feed rate should also be reduced when entering the work-piece until the milling cutter is fully engaged. Tool selection FMA 01: a soft cutting milling tool with a large positive cutting geometry in the 50- 315 mm diameter range. Wiper inserts also provide the best surface quality. FMA 07: a new, highly economical milling cutter with 16 cutting edges for machining steel and grey cast iron. FMD 02: a top clamping system for changing inserts quickly and easily; it is also very economical thanks to its 12 cutting edges arranged on two sides. FMD 03: These milling cutters form part of our range for use in heavy roughing, deep cutting depths up to 17 mm and diameters from 125 - 400 mm.

The FS 5 is a sturdy and extremely cost-effective chamfering machine with cutter head and cutting inserts. Straight edges of cube-shaped workpieces can be easily chamfered. It is designed for deburring and chamfering small workpieces starting with a thickness of 3 mm. The sturdy casing, the sanded guide rails and the integrated swarf boxes convince in every regard. The V-prism is foldable for changing the reversible cemented carbide inserts. Thanks to the optimised interplay of cutter head and cutting inserts, the machine ensures clatter-free, clean and constant chamfering. The chamfer setting is made through a knurled handwheel. A chamfer width of up to 5 mm is possible in NE metals and a chamfer width of up to 3mm in steel. The machine has a switch-on duration of 10 - 30%/h.

The sturdy and easy chamfering machine is designed for deburring and chamfering of small to large workpieces from 5 mm thickness. The hardened and sanded guide rails must be turned for smaller and thinner workpieces starting with a thickness of 2 mm. Thanks to the optimised interplay of cutter head and cutting inserts, the machine ensures clean and constant chamfering. A chamfer width of up to 12 mm is possible in NE metals and a chamfer width of up to 10mm in steel. The cutting edge length of the cutting inserts can be used 100% thanks to the innovative axially adjustable motor shaft. The ASO 650-WSL has speed regulation that is very useful when processing aluminum or stainless steel and a gradual angle adjustment in a range from 15-45°. A radius processing from R1.2 to R6 is possible with different cutting inserts. For longer workpieces or serial part production, we recommend optimizing the feed unit with pressing pressure, surface quality, feed speed and service life of tools.

The KKF3-SL, a universal chamfering and contour milling machine, has a measuring head attachment. Tools with a shaft diameter from Ø6-12 mm can be clamped in the milling cutter support. Our versatile tool range includes different VHM milling cutters and blade heads. The VHM milling cutters are available for the processing of chamfer angles and radii. Ball bearings with Ø6 or Ø8mm are used for contour processing with the VHM milling cutters. Tapered contour chamfers are used in combination with optional guide fingers or stop rulers. The use of cutter heads with cutting inserts and guide ball bearings starting at Ø10mm permit maximum efficiency. A guide prism with VHM shaft chamfering can optionally be used for straight edges. The exact chamfer setting is performed through a micrometer screw. A chamfer width of up to 6mm at 45° is possible in steel. In NE metals, significantly larger chamfers are possible depending on the tool and angle.

The angle adjustment can be set gradually in the range of 30° depending on the machine type and design, for example, 25-55°, 30°-60° or 35-65°. The MMB series is equipped with a feed unit by default. The machines can be extended with roller guide ways or converted into automatic chamfering machines. Depending on the design, the machine table is equipped with ball or heavy-duty rollers.
