Upenders are designed to safely tilt big and heavy coils – either from horizontal into vertical or reversed. This fast and easy coil handling solution gets rid of “adventurous” tilting methods that often will endanger the operator. Chains and other lifting aids which damage the coil rims become obsolete. Upenders allow 90 degrees tilting of coils; Combination machines will also rotate 180 degrees. Both can handle up to 25 tons.

With the new generation of our combination machines, we have continued to develop the new diversity for forming pipes. Geometries that effectively replace high-cost and expensive turned parts can be formed directly at the pipe end in the endforming machine – for a final component of a single workpiece that is ready for use without elaborate soldering or welding. Implementation of the combination can be specified by you or based directly on the forming geometry. This is usually done using up to 6 axial forming stages and at least one rotary unit. Trimming, as well as axial and rotary forming, may require 2 rotary forming stations. Simple trimming or deburring after forming at the pipe end are no demanding challenges. Therefore, all our axial forming machines and combination machines are equipped with one or several single-drive axes. They have a servo-electrical drive and can be used in each of the holders for the forming stages, making the system is very flexible and compact.

Our Speedmax is the fastest available wire and tube forming automation solution available on the market for bending machines. Ideal for trimming and scoring hidden airbag compartments on thermoformed skin. After the fabrication of IP skins through thermoforming, two separate fabrication steps are still needed before foaming. In the first step, the thermoformed skin will be trimmed in the external zone through punching or a blade cutting process. Depending on the requirements, this is where FRIMO's blade cutting equipment comes into operation. In the second step, the skin will be weakened in the airbag area by a blade.
