As a combination of blind rivet nut and screw, blind rivet nut studs offer an alternative or replacement for welding studs. The brushless motor and 10,000 N of force make the AccuBird® Pro extremely fast for installing blind rivets up to 5 mm in diameter, in any material and up to 6 mm in diameter aluminium. The BLDC motor of the AccuBird® Pro has an extremely long service life and is virtually non-wearing. Compared to commercially available battery-powered tools, riveting can be done up to 4x faster making it comparable with hydropneumatic blind riveting tools. The optional autoreverse function additionally shortens the pulling process, ensuring the AccuBird® Pro is immediately ready for operation. A wide grip range: A single PolyGrip® blind rivet can replace to up to fi ve different dimensions of DIN standard blind rivets. • Outstanding hole fi lling capability: The rivet body expands radially during the setting process and compensates hole tolerances, centering deviations and differences in diameter, thus always building up a playfree and tight joint. • Safe rest mandrel locking: PolyGrip® blind rivets neither generate rattling noises due to free moving rest mandrels nor do they allow the risk of loss of the rest mandrel. • Splash waterproof are the PolyGrip® blind rivets under certain conditions too. Thanks to the benefi ts of its large drilling hole tolerance and the option of covering various grip ranges with just one fastener, the PolyGrip® blind rivet nut has become a fi rst-choice connector in many industrial applications and in trade. The blind rivet connection itself is a non-detachable connection. However in order to be able to attach further detachable components GESIPA® has the threaded blind rivet in its product range. The threaded blind rivet has a stud with M5 or M6 external thread to which further parts can be mounted using an additional nut.

GESIPA® profile clinching blind rivets are ideal for maintaining defined distances during component assembly or for setting a stop in running rails. Accordingly this special rivet is used in the white goods and furniture industry among others.

Expanding blind rivets are required when soft or porous components such as wood, hard fiber, fiberglass or plasterboard are to be joined together with a high clamping force. During the setting process the mandrel drops out of the hollow rivet and on the closing head side the mandrel divides the hollow rivet into four parts. These then claw into the material. Typical applications are plastic and wooden element assembly, caravan construction and the fastening of interior trim.

Grooved blind rivets are suitable for riveting in blind holes in soft materials. They are used in the furniture industry, in interior fittings, in the wood and plastics processing industry, in car body construction and many more. Important: Before processing the grooved blind rivets, the drill hole diameter must be determined by testing and the minimum drill hole depth must be observed.

Washer-shaped locking head This valuable locking head shape distributes the contact pressure evenly over the component, making it the perfect fastener for riveting soft and brittle components such as plastics and composites. Large clamping range One PolyBulb® blind rivet replaces up to three conventional blind rivets and reduces part variety. Combining multiple dimensions saves handling and storage costs and also permanently reduces the risk of confusion in the workplace. Controlled hole reveal By filling the hole according to the requirements, the PolyBulb® blind rivet creates an optimal connection. A closed end rivet The rivet body of the GESIPA CAP ® blind rivet is absolutely air and watertight. Liquids cannot seep through, could however seep around the set rivet, if the setting hole is too large. Therefore great care must be brought to fullfi lling the hole tolerances. The GESIPA CAP ® blind rivet – The structure For technical reasons, the rivet mandrel of the GESIPA CAP ® blind rivet must be fi xed in the rivet body. However this means that the rivet body can only deform slightly during the setting process. As a result, the cap blind rivet only has marginal hole fi lling capability. However this is necessary to be able to compensate large bore-hole tolerances. The GESIPA CAP ® blind rivet – Tight connections with care The above-mentioned technical situations make careful preparation of the application imperative. The hole diameter should be as tight as possible to ensure a fl awless function in the application for a long period.

GESIPA® blind rivets are also available in colour to match the application. To guarantee the best possible durability the hollow rivets are painted using a two-component epoxy resin paint in a stow enamelling process. In addition to the visual benefi ts, the painted blind rivet also has added protection against corrosion. Aluminium blind rivets are best suited for this procedure. In the long-term they achieve the desired visual effect when joining coloured parts. GESIPA® blind rivets are available in the standard RAL colours. On request, steel blind rivets are also available in RAL colours or even special colours. Another method for colouring blind rivets and for protecting them against corrosion is to anodize them. The Eloxal method is more complex but is the most durable process for coloured blind rivets.
