Sensors of the family IGEX22 for use in zone 22 with integrated electronics and direct switching output to the non-explosive area do not need a separate analysis device. This saves space and costs. The EGE IGEX20 proximity switches are based on the conventional inductive principle and switch when a metallic object moves close. This family includes shock and vibration resistant solid stainless steel sensors. The sensors are certified according to ATEX and IECEx. The sensors of this family are suited in the area of explosive dust atmospheres (zone 22) for presence verification, position and movement monitoring and the counting of metallic objects and the speed control on conveyor belts.

EGE flow sensors for gaseous mediums without integrated amplifier permit the space-saving flow measurement on site and the comfortable setting of the limit value using separate amplifier, e.g. within a control cabinet. The measurement takes place without mechanically moving parts using a thermal measuring element. The current flow state is displayed at the amplifier using LEDs. The devices are used wherever a safe, robust and low-maintenance monitoring of flow values is required. This includes e.g. air conditioning technology, monitoring of exhaust air systems and ventilation monitoring.

EGE sensors for fluid mediums with integrated measuring & amplifier are compact devices with extremely robust housing and integrated measuring and amplifier. The current flow state is displayed at the sensor using LEDs. The measurement takes place without mechanically moving parts using a thermal measuring element. Limit values are set directly at the device. These sensors are used wherever a safe, reliable and low-maintenance recording of flows is required. This includes e.g. all automation and chemical industries in the most varied areas, such as cooling circuit monitoring, monitoring the flow rate of process fluids, monitoring metering processes or also for pump protection.

EGE compact devices for the flow monitoring of gaseous media contain measuring and amplifier in a single housing. They are used where a visualisation of the flow rate on site is required. EGE flow sensors for gaseous media feature two pins which contain the thermal measuring elements. The sensors are set up directly at the device. EGE sensors for gaseous media are characterised by a rapid response capability and reliable operation. Based on the principle, there are no moving parts in the air flow monitors and they can, therefore, also be used in aggressive environments. Devices for air conditioning technology have smooth measuring surfaces and need not protrude far into the flow duct.
