Developed by IBK Wiesehahn, the secondary friction connection seal with H-profile has created an area of application in the industrial branch. The successfull conzept of “secondary friction connection” is based on the separation of bracing and sealing. Every functionary of the seal meet only one function. The seal is made of hard metal-profile and elastic sealing-material. The sealing-material is measured, that after reaching the block storage, the recovery behavior fully exists. A overpress of the sealing-material is basically excluded. Due to the wide range of different designs, perfectly suitable PTFE seals are available for every application. The PTFE gaskets from billi are characterized by high dielectric strength, excellent electrical insulation properties and a low thermal conductivity. The PTFE tapes are both, odourless and insoluble. In addition, the PTFE thread sealing tapes have a particularly low coefficient of friction, which improves their performances. We also offer PTFE cord with a pressure resistance of up to 10 bar. Possible applications include valves as well as piston and centrifugal pumps.

The range in the graphite seals segment is not limited to rings and tapes, but also includes sheets: The many advantages of billi graphite sheets include the low permeability of liquids and gases as well as high resistance to chemical substances. In addition, the plates made of natural graphite convince for their enormous stability and high resistance to temperature fluctuations. The graphite sheets can be ordered in different versions so that the perfect items are available for every application: For example, you can choose from models without steel reinforcement, with plain steel inserts and tanged stainless steel reinforcement.
