Toner based printing offers high quality photographic output with very strong abrasion durability. The superior durability is achieved by a high temperature fusing process that happens internal to the printer. Due to the high temperatures required to permanently bond the toner to the surface of the substrate material types must be rated to withstand extreme heat. Some synthetic material are not designed to withstand such temperatures and could cause catastrophic failures within the fuser. The good news is that GetLabels has been manufacturing and qualifying material, including synthetics, that will withstand the extreme temperatures used in toner based printing.
