Use by industry in robot-controlled applications Both versions of the GAV 8000 can be integrated into robot systems. Industrial robots are used almost everywhere in the production environment. They can be programmed to carry out various movements and can therefore be used highly effi ciently in combination with the GESIPA® rivet equipment. With the controlled, fast and secure production processes it is possible to achieve the following benefi ts by using a fully-automatic GAV combined with a multi-axle robot: • First rate precission • High effi ciency • Short cycle times • High fl exibility

The RSA Series is designed to identify suspension springs with the appropriate load class based on an individual payload measurement result. The system receives the measurement results from the upstream system. The system is available as a single or double cycle version (depending on the required throughput). Simple linear axes, single- or twin-robot systems are used as handling systems. Since the labels are normally wider than the distance between the threads, the label is preformed (Ushape) before application to reach the labelling position before it is placed around the wire and finally fixed as a flag label. The data is inspected by a vision system and compared with the original measurement information at the outfeed of the system (verification). The labels are printed in the system with various data such as customer information, barcodes and line information. The data for this is made available via the main control of the production line.

With the robot wrist unit cartesian systems for the first time have the same flexibility and degrees of freedom as articulated arm robots. Only much cheaper and with much less space requirement. Moreover, IAI's unique design makes the components light and compact. Can also be used for an orthogonal axis system with interpolation function. The innovative wrist unit has two joints: The tilting joint for swivelling has a working circle of ±100⁰ while the rotary joint can be rotated around ±360⁰. The two pulse motors accelerate these cylinders at speeds of between 750 ⁰/s and 1,200 ⁰/s.
