The SMS thin film evaporator type HYVAP serves the increasing demand of the pharmaceutical industry for continuous concentration of heat sensitive, viscous and fouling products. Hygienic design for the pharmaceutical industry The HYVAP is a horizontal thin film evaporator that allows easy access and inspection of the interior and controlled and reliable CIP cleaning. The technology of the HYVAP combines the proven advantages of our conventional horizontal thin film evaporators DKH with the following new features: • Cantilever rotor design • Comfortable rotor extraction • No bearing in product space • Mechanical seal in hygienic design • Electro-polished surfaces • Sight glasses for inspection during operation The new HYVAP DZH offers the hygienic design that meets current GMP requirements. The evaporator sizes range from 0.1 m2 for laboratory to 2.0 m2 for industrial applications. LP steam as well as hot water can be applied as heating media.

KLN has created a machine series for precise parts cleaning with aqueous and organic cleaning agents. This series meets the requirements of the various industrial branches in the cleaning technology. Like in a modular construction system the components can be put together in any combination for a machine. This gives a maximum flexibility in the process technology. The KLN BATCH-INLINE cleaning system is based on many years of experience with Inline Cleaning systems for the electronics production and unites, for the first time, the technological advantages of Inline cleaning with low space requirement of a Batch system. By far, most of the Inline cleaning systems in Germany for the large-scale production “Automotives” and “alternative energy” come from company KLN. This system was developed to make the efficient Inline cleaning technology available now also for customers with smaller budgets and throughputs.

With the METRO G/F/R material loaders, large quantities of granulate, dusty regrind and flakes can be conveyed automatically to the hopper of a processing machine, drying bin or day bin. Filters with sophisticated cleaning technology and large outlet flaps guarantee trouble-free operation. Via the hinged lid, free from vacuum and material hoses, the loaders can be quickly and easily cleaned during material changes.
