Generate cold water / flake ice continuously Proven use Falling film chillers have been used in various industrial sectors for many years. Water runs over the heat exchanger plates from a trough arranged above the heat exchanger plates. This enables a continuous heat transfer between the water and the cooling medium. Outstanding advantages The arrangement of holes in the upper tub enables targeted water distribution on the heat exchanger plates. The construction using a perforated tub has the further advantage that no contamination occurs and the liquid to be cooled is evenly distributed. Made of stainless steel The trickle cooler is made entirely of stainless steel. You can choose between different materials (see data sheet). Low boiling delay Our trickle coolers are characterized by the fact that the boiling delay is low in flooded operation, whereby overheating can be selected in dry expansion operation.

"History and Origin of Quinoa Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa) is native to South America and has been grown as the main food crop since 6000 years ago. Quinoa was already used by the Incas as a field product. The plant is able to grow under cold, nutrient-poor and dry conditions. The growth period is about 5-6 months. Then the quinoa is washed to remove the saponin. Then it is dried and the best pieces will be selected by hand. These pieces are soaked to flatten the quinoa. "Organic Potato Flakes The potato (solanum tuberosum) is a plant that grows underground. The potato originally comes from South America, but nowadays it is grown in many European countries. Potatoes are cut and dried after harvesting, leaving flakes. Potato Purée Potato flakes are flat pieces of dried potato purée. The potatoes are first boiled and then mashed, after which they are flattened by large rollers in a drum. Because the potato flakes are quickly dried to the desired moisture content, the dried mashed potato flakes are then scraped off the drum and broken through a mill sieve. The SOMOS® Gramix FlakeDos dosing system is ideally suitable for gravimetrically dosing PET bottle flake (bulk density 250 to 600 g/l). The system can optimally and directly process the flakes without premixing.

Whether as electrical isolator or sensor-feed-through, our thin glass plates with defined edge- and inner hole-processing are suited ideally. The reason for this are the specific glass-characteristics. The high electrical insulation value or the high transparency of glass make use of its advantages. Always customized on your application!

The MRS extruder processes undried PET bottle flake without any pre-treatment directly into pellets. The polymer melt is intensively and rapidly exchanged in the multiple screw section of the extruder. The huge surface area is exchanged at an unparalleled rate so that even with a moderate vacuum level of 25 to 40 mbar in the degassing section, contaminants are efficiently evaporated out of the melt. A letter of Non Objection (LNO) from the FDA underlines the decontamination efficiency. If, in order to boost the intrinsic viscosity (IV) a downstream solid state polymerisation system (SSP) is used, this can be specified far shorter than otherwise necessary as the extruder has already carried out the decontamination of the bottle flakes. The end product is of especially high quality with regard to transparency and yellowness.
