The innovative recuperation module from CIC acts as an energy-saving valve and control module directly in the pneumatic circuit. Functionality : It is installed directly on the consumer - e.g. on the pneumatic cylinder or in the pneumatic control circuit. The recuperation valve with its integrated control electronics measures and regulates the air consumption and feeds used compressed air back into the working cycle for reuse. Advantages : Reduction of compressed air consumption by up to 80%. Increase in efficiency of the plant. Wind formers convey especially ne particles to the top faces, thus creating ne board surfaces. This is because ner particles are conveyed much farther in an air ow than coarser ones. The forming system of a particleboard line usually comprises two wind formers located at its front and rear ends, as they form the top and the rear board surfaces. The ecoFormer SL by CMC Texpan has been developed from the traditional wind former technology. This was because we wanted to improve the separation of coarse and nes particles to create the optimal board surface. The air ow was simulated using the CFD method (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and optimised with respect to its aerodynamic behaviour thus improving its energy eciency. The ecoFormer SL can also be easily retrotted into existing mat formers, since its outer dimensions are compatible with the conventional wind formers oered by CMC. Features, function

ESM for AC-brakes: The module consists of a time-controlled rectifier with integral electronic fast turn-off. During start-up, the ESM delivers bridge-rectified output voltage before changing over to half-wave rectification. The built-in voltage sensor ensures that the DC side output voltage is interrupted electronically when AC input voltage is removed. Thanks to its compact design, the ESM can be installed in very restricted space. ESM for DC-brakes: The module keeps the voltage supplied to the electromagnetic device at a constant level over a wide input voltage and temperature range. Full operating voltage is applied to ensure fast switching when the load is switched on. The module then reduces the power supply to constant holding voltage. A 30% reduction provides power savings of 50%. The ESM is very compact thanks to the use of state-of-the-art microelectronic and power electronic components. Overexcitation time and holding voltage can be factory-programmed to customer demands.

Based on the CDR030 bistable rotary solenoid, Kendrion offers a bistable shutter in the field of optical safety technology, which enables de-energized holding in both end positions. The end positions are held by the built-in permanent magnets. This makes the shutter design very energy-saving. The CDR030 shutter is also characterized by its high reliability and long service life of 20 million switching cycles. In addition, the shutter has a typical closing time of 20 ms.

Sewage sludge dewatering offers enormous potential savings for operators of sewage treatment plants. Dewatering sludge means reducing the quantity of sludge for disposal. Thanks to the intelligent combination of DC fans with a fully integrated AC/DC converter, AC fans can now be operated at speeds that are independent of the power frequency. Up to 4500 rpm can be realized and the flow rate significantly increased if required. The EC generation in the dimensions 80mm to 280mm and with several different speeds replaces the previous AC fans in situtations where there is no DC voltage available and requires less power in the process. The previous AC fans can be replaced without restriction as the EC fans have identical dimensions and thickness. The versions that are smaller than 180mm have a wide-range input and can be connected without problem, worldwide to all AC voltage networks without need for further adaptation. The 60 litre stainless steel bin is installed on a mobile frame and is equipped with a sight glass and suction box.
