In practically every sector of the printing industry, machine tapes convey, fold or package printed or unprinted paper. The Gronemeyer serpentine conveyor has stood the test of time for transporting general cargo vertically. The open construction prevents dirt deposits. Common hinged belt chains and drive engines are used. The chain is optionally equipped with rubberised elements so that large gradient angles can be overcome. The drives are delivered as slip-on gears or with chain drive. The modular construction allows them to be re-used later for a new conveyor path. By connecting a serpentine conveyor that conveys upward and one that conveys downward, the machine can be used as a storage system. The first examples of which were built by CMC TEXPAN in the early 1990s.They are aimed at cleaning the material ow fed into the machine byremoving any possible contaminants, the density of which is higher than that of the processed wood chips, e.g. stones, sand, metals, rubber, coarser chipsetc.The principle of operation is based on densimetric separation chieved in a vibratory box. In addition to the vibration of the machine casing, the materialow is subjected to a strong, pulsating air ow, enhancing the separationeect and providing for further “dry leaning” of chips. Heavy contaminants (e.g. stones, glass, rubber and plastic) are removed from the material ow,discharged from the machine side and conveyed to further re-classication,while clean chips are discharged from the machine’s front end.

With the METRO G/F/R material loaders, large quantities of granulate, dusty regrind and flakes can be conveyed automatically to the hopper of a processing machine, drying bin or day bin. Filters with sophisticated cleaning technology and large outlet flaps guarantee trouble-free operation. Via the hinged lid, free from vacuum and material hoses, the loaders can be quickly and easily cleaned during material changes.

Virgin and regrind material is conveyed quickly and cleanly to the hopper of a processing machine, a drying bin or a dosing and mixing unit. Material is delivered exactly when needed keeping machines running and avoiding costly downtime. Material wastage is eliminated and the work-space is kept clean and safe.

The METRO SG HES range of single-phase material loaders enable processors to automate a key area of the production process cost effectively, bringing significant benefits for process management. Plastic granulate is conveyed quickly and cleanly to a processing machine hopper, a drying bin or a day bin as needed. The material loader is equipped with its own control, so that it recognizes when material is needed and automatically starts conveying. This keeps machines running and avoids costly downtime while eliminating material wastage, keeping the workspace clean and safe. The METRO SG HES range can handle throughputs of 15 to 200 kg/h.

To conform to market requirements, widely differing machines for painting/coating mouldings, window parts and other profile components were developed. The type and number of guns depends both on the paint system and on the quality envisaged. Air, Airmix or Airless spraying systems can be used for this purpose. The individual machine types can be configured with all conveyor systems of our portfolio and combined with the respective drying systems. The difference between the VEN SPRAY MOULD (LT) and (LW) variants is their type of extraction. LT stands for dry extraction, LW for water-backed extraction. VEN SPRAY MOULD COOLAC is exclusively designed for processing water-based paints. The overspray is constantly collected and condensed in chilled collector systems. The condensation of the controlled air humidity keeps the collector devices and chilled conveyor systems permanently wet. This reliably prevents paint particles from drying during operation. The strip painting plants can be supplemented by further Venjakob plant technologies specifically tailored to the process such as brush sanding/denibbing machines, dryers or conveying equipment.
