Static tools form one of the EWS core areas. There is no other manufacturer in the world offering such a variety of products: More than 20,000 different tool holders are available for machine operators. Our portfolio includes VDI tool holders with shaft diameters of 16-80 as well as block tool holders of BMT55-BMT85 to machine-specific holders for MAZAK, Okuma or Mori Seiki, to name just a few. We also offer prism holders according to DIN 69881 (VDI3425 Bl.3) in all nominal sizes. Our standard portfolio includes Capto, HSK, KM and ABS adaptations in addition to the standard holders. Moreover, our scope of supply includes special holding fixtures made according to customer drawings or innovative solutions of the EWS engineers designed to master production engineering challenges. State of the art machines, tightest tolerances Machine knives for use in steel production are challenging from a production engineering point of view and place enormous demands on quality. A knife change always entails a long and thus costly system shutdown; consequently, long knives and circular knives from our company are characterised not only by very high accuracy, but also by their extreme resistance to wear. In the past, we have made serious investments in our machine fleet, in order also to produce to the most complicated geometries and tightest tolerances. In addition to standard qualities, we also deliver special qualities for particular stress at high temperatures.

Short loading times are a key feature of the Weber Slicer 702. It masters the special challenges when slicing short products with short cycle times and an endless product flow. The new Locking Assembly series RINGFEDER ® RfN 7012.2 is specially designed to fulfil the requirements of constantly increasing bending moments for conveyor pulleys. The challenge was to develop a product with the same dimensions as the standard RINGFEDER ® RfN 7012 to fit into existing end discs – Attention: yield point of end disc has to be checked – so that also material handling equipment at hand can be upgraded. At the same time the Locking Assembly should carry a multiple of the bending moments of the standard RINGFEDER ® RfN 7012.
