State of the art machines, tightest tolerances Machine knives for use in steel production are challenging from a production engineering point of view and place enormous demands on quality. A knife change always entails a long and thus costly system shutdown; consequently, long knives and circular knives from our company are characterised not only by very high accuracy, but also by their extreme resistance to wear. HERMA 362M - Two-sided labeling with maximum precision: For labeling challenging product shapes. The 362M two-sided applicator allows you to label up to 200 products per minute. Versatile, robust and extremely precise. Precise labeling in the centered position is also possible as an option. Two high-performance applicators ensure maximum throughput, even during continuous operation. The labeling machine can be converted for wrap-around labeling in no time at all. With an operating concept for quick format changes and a variety of equipment options, the 362M leaves nothing to be desired. Prior to the production, we conducted a DFM analysis of the design and components, and, together with the customer, we revised the documentation. Transformers and radiators were designed and manufactured to order. We also applied the custom technology for applying the protective coating. All these measures, combined with the building of new component supply chains, made it possible not only to ensure quality consistency and predictability, but also to reduce the production costs.
