The twisterchain product line offers a wide range for circular movements and is available in four sizes. Modular in width and radius, therefore flexible in applications where rotary and spiral movements up to 360° and more with high loads and smooth operation are required. The twisterchain applications are available with guide trough, which has the following advantages: guidance of the energy chain, reduced abrasion of the energy chain, optimal operational smoothness, rotation angle up to 360° from stock. - Strong, high fill weights, smooth operation, weight-optimised - Rotary speeds up to 1m/s and more - Circular/spiral movements up to 360° from stock (up to 400° upon request) - Cable-friendly, smooth interior crossbars openable along the inner and outer radius - Successfully tested for over 1 million cycles in the igus laboratory

The potentiometer grinding track is embedded in a blue plastic housing and is picked up by precious metal grinders. The back of the housing is sealed dust-tight with a cover. The stainless steel drive shaft is mounted in bushings. Up to 3 potentiometer levels can be lined up one behind the other with a common wiper shaft. The levels can be adjusted against each other. Delivery is possible with or without mechanical stops. The PP 27 potentiometers are used as setpoint adjusters and as actual value and reference potentiometers in control and measuring circuits.

Recording of the angular position and revolutions by means of Hall sensors - multiturn version with absolute transmission for up to 4096 revolutions - data output plus parameterisation and diagnosis via Profibus-DP. Robust housing manufactured from seawater-proof aluminium or stainless steel - stainless steel shaft - ball bearing with radial shaft seal - sensor circuit consisting of ASIC with Hall elements - electrical connections via the connecting cap with threaded cable connections. The absolute encoders are designed for direct connection to the PROFIBUS-DP. The interface is implemented with the SPC3 Siemens PROFIBUS controller. The protocol corresponds to DP-Slave Class 2 functionality in accordance with Profibus profile for encoders, No. 3.062, and is described in detail in the TRD 12770 user manual. The TRD is mechanicallly and electrically compatible with the electro-optical encoder CRD.
