SANHA produces capillary fittings of the series PURAFIT® - just like our press fittings PURAPRESS® - from the completely lead-free premium material silicon bronze CuSi. This copper alloy is optimally adapted for the use in drinking water systems as it fulfills the strict legal requirements of the Drinking Water Directive. By using lead-free PURAFIT® capillary fittings, installers can always be certain that they will not be subject to any legal claims in case the lead tolerances are exceeded. The European Drinking Water Directive 98/83/EC describes water as our most important good and thus highlights the importance of its protection. Drinking water is of high value as it has a direct impact on human health. For drinking water installations, that means that planning, construction and operation of a drinking water system should not cause illnesses due to mistakes or errors. A regular test for drinking water is prescribed in the Directive 98/83/EC.
