Galvanized steel coils are cold rolled sheets coated with Zinc. According to customers need, can be supplied as coil, slitted or cut to length form. Our stock includes generally materials produced according to EN 10346, also other special grades.

The wide range of product portfolio of coils with different tube diameters, tube patterns, fin profiles, materials and options allows us to customize our coils for any specific application and fluids: air heaters, air coolers, condensers and evaporators for HVAC and various industrial applications. Kelvion heat exchanger coils are manufactured with copper tubes and aluminum or copper fins. The fins are equipped with special profiles developed at our R&D department enhancing heat transfer and keeping pressure drop at a moderate level. The customized fin spacing is achieved by collars which also provide the contact between the fin block and the tubes. Mechanical expansion of the tubes guarantees a perfect bond between the fins and the tubes leading to maximum heat transfer between both fluids.

System for the impregnation of electomagnetic coils, e.g. of electric motors, transformers, generators Impregnating in electricla engineering means applying an impregnating agent in gaseous or fluid form to a porous body in order to insulate it electrically, i.e. that reliable protection against electrical breakdown is provided even when the thickness of the insulating layer is small. For each application HÜBERS provides appropriate process. HÜBERS offers all relevant process variants including vacuum impregnation, vacuum-pressure impregnation and atmospheric impregnation and of these coupled with the use of the many different impregnating agents such as varnish, resin, oil, wax, gas etc. The processes of evacuating the parts prior to impregnation and if necessary of vacuum-drying the impregnated parts are matched to the properties of the parts and ensure that the agent wets the walls of the pores properly and fills the cavities completely.

Open wire heating elements are the best solution for air heating when used in fans. Because of our longlasting experience in this field, we can offer you a series construction in most cases. To use our open wire or coil heating elements in air, the installation of a cut-out is necessary (heat accumulation). The connection is done by a plug at the element (Faston 4,8 or 6,3) or by a cord set. Our extended range of air heater variants comprises: -> Heaters for Laundry Dryers (series & spare parts types) -> Heaters for Cross Flow Fan -> Heaters for Powerful Radial Blowers -> Heating Crosses & Special Designs Various special designs for airflow heating, deploying heater spirals on insulating mica support, are available. They are required when the available space for installation is limited and defined geometrical air ducts do not exist. All special open wire heaters are individual designs, i.e. custom-made.

The CSN® AirCoil is a special design based on the physical construction of a Rogowski Coil. Due to the ironfree design the coil does not have any saturation which allows to use only one CSN® AirCoil Module for both metering and protection arrays. Additionally the CSN® Aircoil shows linear transmission behaviour over a wide frequency range. A current range of hundred amperes up to several hundreds kiloamperes is easy to realize. CSN® AirCoil Modules are combinable and hence the output voltage level is adjustable to customer request. In linguistic usage occasionally the terms coil heaters, nozzle heating elements, hot runner heating elements, cable nozzle heaters are used. Our HotMicroCoil heating elements can be used in a wide variety of applications. Their high level of plasticity ideally suits them to the heating of hot runner nozzles and for accurately heating the contours of three-dimensional surfaces. Many of our customers order HotMicroCoil elements in their unformed state of mineral insualted cable heaters and perform the subsequent shaping work themselves, while others commission us to shape and fit the heating cable elements. A large number of ready-to-fit heating solutions are available for plastic injection nozzles with clamping mechanisms, housing bezel, reflection tube or heat conduction sleeve.

The light and mobile coil mat was designed for the storage of coils. It is convenient to use. Thus, makeshift storage can be set up rapidly and flexibly. Alternatively, existing storage can be expanded should bottlenecks arise.

When you deal with industrial surface treatment and your expertise is the cleaning, brushing, polishing or coating of strip steel, you most likely do not want to spend any worries about the run of the material. That’s where our Winding Lines keep your worries away – because they take care of a safe run! They work with high tension and special monitoring and deflectors to do this, with the result of a clean wound beginning to end. The machine design thus calls for especially high drive power and precision expansion systems; even something so simple as the machine base is designed special to cope with the forces… To control the precision of one layer to the next, we utilize external edge controls and servo-drive the Reels for adjustment. This way we meet the typical low tolerances in this industry – after all, the coil is the product!

If you need two Coil Reels to hold one coil, you need a Heavy-Duty Coil Feed Line above all. One that is designed extremely robust and knows to subdue even materials of highest bounce and largest cross-sections.To ensure this, we have taken no heed to cost savings but went by the maximum principle: 2 Coil Reels with high-performance arbors retain the coils from left and right. 2 x 2 hydraulic arms secure them from top and bottom – each with eight tons pressure force, each with hydraulically driven snubber roll. The loading is done with one central lifting gear built into a super-duty running frame for the V-nest. Hydraulic manipulators with pivoting and bending function support the threading of the material. On the receiving end, a Pre-Straightener with 200mm work rolls takes over, after hydraulic edge guides have ensured central entry. Now, if someone asks us our definition of “heavy-duty”: We find 36.000 kilogram coil weight and 2.

Most Winding Lines process one single coil (single-layer winding). There are however also applications where multiple layers are wound: With this process, the rewinding Coil Reel (Rewinder for short) reverses horizontally and orderly puts one layer beside the other, creating one long coil. This will make sense when narrow slit coil materials of small weight and – depending on their thickness – usually short running lengths would require frequent changeovers. Here, a layer-wound coil provides much longer productive time. The “elongation” by the way is done by butt-welding the coil strip ends. We offer this complete technology – including our own end-joining equipment and an adapted servo layering axis for the Rewinder. For thick strips we build vertical straighteners to correct the frequently occurring camber defect.

The Freek heat transfer nozzle heater type especially addresses manufacturers and users who operated their hotrunner nozzles with cast-in heaters in the past and would like to stick to their engineering know-how without paying the high price of this former heater design. The standard material of our patent pending Freek heat transfer alternative is brass, with or without coating, basically with a slit. Characteristics of our HotMicroCoil nozzle heaters sheathed by a reflection tube are easy mounting and variable heat distribution. Because of its direct touch and toleranced fit, the heater allows a very good heat transmission to the nozzle. In all our HotMicroCoils with reflection tube the assembly of a thermocouple is possible and recommended for bigger diameters and power. Also most common nozzle heater solutions are HotMicrocoil heating elements with clamp bands with diverse locking mechanisms.

HotCoils have a larger cross-sectional area and are thus capable of greater power than MicroCoils. For this reason they are used in hot runners with adequate space and where high heat densities are required. Owing to the large number of variants and for cost reasons, the sheath material for HotCoils is stainless steel - the standard for the market and thus also for Freek. HotCoils are large enough that thermocouples can be integrated into them. Our standard here is Type J (Fe-CuNi; red/blue), while Types J and K are also available conforming to the IEC and ANSI standards (see colour codes). Since the measurement point of a built-in temperature sensor is situated in the heater and never where the heat is actually required, a HotCoil with a thermocouple makes particular sense where the application allows the use of larger processing (temperature) windows or where the installation location or the design requires protection against overheating.

Characteristics of our HotMicroCoils with reflection tube are easy mounting and variable heat distribution. Because of its direct touch and toleranced fit, the sleeve coil heater allows a very good heat transmission to the nozzle. In all our HotMicroCoil heaters with reflection sleeve the assembly of a thermocouple is possible and recommended for bigger diameters and power.

Novelis ff3 is pre-painted aluminum with a 3 mm thickness. This façade-cladding material gives architects and builders a wide range of sophisticated design possibilities. Thanks to the high mechanical strength of ff3, considerably wider spans compared with other alloys of the same material thickness are possible. This results in significant cost benefits when installing.

Novelis ff2 pre-painted aluminum with a 2 mm thickness is developed specially for building facade cladding in ventilated and non-ventilated construction. Coil-coated with high-quality PVdF paint, this pre-painted aluminum has a flawless, brilliant surface with a variety of plain, metallic and special colors available.

Based on proven coil anodizing technology from our B57S® product, B73A can be used for shelving, furniture, medical and domestic appliances and many other applications. The surface of Novelis B73A is industrially pre-treated and coil anodised in a continuous process. This ensures a consistent high quality and is therefore the most cost-effective solution for the customer. B73A offers customised solutions with different functional and decorative requirements for the electronic, domestic appliances and chemical industries*. Our delivery program offers a wide product range, including a variety of colours and standard coating thicknesses.
