The patented casting resin system ALWA MOULD D consists of two resin components and an aluminium filler. The fast curing of the material allows to produce your own technologically highest quality moulds in just a few hours. As our material is very good castable, compact moulds of any desired volume can be made from our product, such as acrylic baths, boats, etc. (<1 kg – 2500 kg). In comparison to other materials (e.g., glass fibre reinforced plastic), the system is more temperature-resistant, allows castings without air bubbles and does not have to be post-cured. Furthermore, the finished mould is easy machinable (e.g., drilling, milling, grinding, planning, sawing, turning, etc.). ALWA MOULD D moulds can be modified with repair filler, so that a fresh view can be created at an early stage of a new design process and prototypes can be examined at short notice.

Costconscious use of resources Every year in Germany, several million refrigeratorsare disposed of . With this enormous volume, refrigerators are certainly counted among the most important recycling products. After removing the chlorofluorocarbons, in a second step the housings are broken down into their individual components – iron, aluminium, copper and plastics. These are then made available again to industry as secondary raw materials. We equip our clients with extremely tough and hardwearing shredder disks and thus contribute to costconscious handling of resources.

A wide variety of very individual construction options are made possible with Vulkollan® coated components. Connections between Vulkollan® and metal can be easily created after the metal component has been pretreated. During this pretreatment, the surface of the component is cleaned and degreased using a sandblasting process. An optimal bond is then guaranteed by applying an adhesion promoter. The metal component (e.g. steel, aluminum, cast) takes on the function of the stable supporting body. The Vulkollan® coating meets high-performance requirements in terms of wear protection, damping and noise reduction. We would be pleased to advise you on which metal compounds can be used in your processing, in order to achieve top process results. Please note, other trim types are available upon request!

Bentley-Harris® Textalu 1202 is an insulative fiberglass sleeving with a heavy aluminum coating designed to protect components in high temperature areas. It provides superior insulation to components that must maintain stable temperatures to assure performance efficiency. Textalu 1202 is used on wire harnesses, sensor control wiring and cable assemblies in close proximity to engines and exhaust systems. Due to its elastic structure, Textalu 1202 conforms well to the variable profiles of the components it protects. Its braided construction allows good flexibility in temperatures as low as -50°C. The infra-red emissivity rating of Textalu 1202 heavy aluminum coating, combined with its fiberglass braid, ensures temperature stability inside the Textalu sleeving despite frequent external temperature fluctuations due to radiant heat.

The benefits of using aluminium in machine and plant construction are abundant: although aluminium is considered to be a light metal with a density of 2.6 to 2.8 g per cm³, which offers potential weight savings of up to 66% compared to steel and stainless steel, it still has exceptional strength considering these properties. However, the design and concept of steel constructions can often not be transferred one-to-one, due to the higher malleability and lower residual stress of aluminium components. An additional benefit is the aluminium's inherent resistance to corrosion: When exposed to oxygen, the light metal forms an oxide coating, which is immediately regenerated upon permeation. Standard processing methods, such as MIG, TIG and CMT welding can easily be used on aluminium without hesitation – particularly on substrates that are also made of aluminium.
