SPIROL's Series LP500 Latch Pins for Plastics are designed with a barb located under the head with a barb length equal to the width of the outermost section of the assembly. The remaining length of the LP500 Latch Pin is smooth without any other retention features. This allows the LP500 Latch Pin for Plastic to easily align and freely install through all of the holes with a plastic assembly until the barb makes contact with the final hole to securely lock the pin in place. Once fully installed, the handle will pivot freely around the non-barbed end of the stationary pin. The head prevents the LP500 Latch Pin from being over-installed, and enables the pin to be mechanically oriented for automatic installation. Manufactured from lightweight, lead free aluminium, SPIROL's LP500 Latch Pins for Plastics are available in three standard diameters: 3mm, 4mm and 5mm.

The patented casting resin system ALWA MOULD D consists of two resin components and an aluminium filler. The fast curing of the material allows to produce your own technologically highest quality moulds in just a few hours. As our material is very good castable, compact moulds of any desired volume can be made from our product, such as acrylic baths, boats, etc. (<1 kg – 2500 kg). In comparison to other materials (e.g., glass fibre reinforced plastic), the system is more temperature-resistant, allows castings without air bubbles and does not have to be post-cured. Furthermore, the finished mould is easy machinable (e.g., drilling, milling, grinding, planning, sawing, turning, etc.). ALWA MOULD D moulds can be modified with repair filler, so that a fresh view can be created at an early stage of a new design process and prototypes can be examined at short notice.

Costconscious use of resources Every year in Germany, several million refrigeratorsare disposed of . After removing the chlorofluorocarbons, in a second step the housings are broken down into their individual components – iron, aluminium, copper and plastics. A wide variety of very individual construction options are made possible with Vulkollan® coated components. Connections between Vulkollan® and metal can be easily created after the metal component has been pretreated. During this pretreatment, the surface of the component is cleaned and degreased using a sandblasting process. An optimal bond is then guaranteed by applying an adhesion promoter. The metal component (e.g. steel, aluminum, cast) takes on the function of the stable supporting body. The Vulkollan® coating meets high-performance requirements in terms of wear protection, damping and noise reduction. We would be pleased to advise you on which metal compounds can be used in your processing, in order to achieve top process results. Please note, other trim types are available upon request!

Bentley-Harris® Textalu 1202 is an insulative fiberglass sleeving with a heavy aluminum coating designed to protect components in high temperature areas. It provides superior insulation to components that must maintain stable temperatures to assure performance efficiency. Textalu 1202 is used on wire harnesses, sensor control wiring and cable assemblies in close proximity to engines and exhaust systems. Due to its elastic structure, Textalu 1202 conforms well to the variable profiles of the components it protects. Its braided construction allows good flexibility in temperatures as low as -50°C. The infra-red emissivity rating of Textalu 1202 heavy aluminum coating, combined with its fiberglass braid, ensures temperature stability inside the Textalu sleeving despite frequent external temperature fluctuations due to radiant heat.

The VA-L series aluminium saws define a whole new performance class with their design. Servo-driven axes and a harmonic drive gear guarantee high-performance and process-reliable operation from aluminium alloys to copper and brass alloys. Due to the technical features and the associated sawing performance, the sawing results meet requirements regarding the surface of Rz < 8 µm and cutting tolerances < 0.1 mm. In many cases, further processing of the surface is therefore no longer necessary. All components of the aluminum circular saws and their processes are designed with this in mind. On the one hand, this includes material processing in terms of chip flow and minimum rest piece length, but also machine components of the latest generation. The VA-L aluminium saws are equipped as standard with pneumatic short-stroke cylinders for material clamping and do not use any hydraulics.

The benefits of using aluminium in machine and plant construction are abundant: although aluminium is considered to be a light metal with a density of 2.6 to 2.8 g per cm³, which offers potential weight savings of up to 66% compared to steel and stainless steel, it still has exceptional strength considering these properties. However, the design and concept of steel constructions can often not be transferred one-to-one, due to the higher malleability and lower residual stress of aluminium components. An additional benefit is the aluminium's inherent resistance to corrosion: When exposed to oxygen, the light metal forms an oxide coating, which is immediately regenerated upon permeation. Standard processing methods, such as MIG, TIG and CMT welding can easily be used on aluminium without hesitation – particularly on substrates that are also made of aluminium. In the aviation industry, there is an increasing trend towards larger and larger monolithic structural components. The ECOSPEED series, featuring a horizontal spindle and a vertical pallet arrangement, has been specially developed for highspeed machining of these large structural aluminum components. A pallet transport system feeds pallets to the machine, the storage station and the loading/unloading station. The innovative Sprint Z3 parallel kinematic machining head, provides the user with the optimum 5axis simultaneous machining process. At a maximum cutting volume of up to 8,000 cm3/min, the machine concept is the world's most productive solution for cutting aluminium structural components, drastically cutting both production times and costs.

This highspeed machining center for long aluminium stringer components combines the advantages of SprintZ3 technology with rapidity and accuracy to provide efficient work piece machining with optimised workpiece handing. The machine is specially designed for machining aluminium profiles (or stringers) of up to 30 metres in length.
