Explosion-proof heaters - ATEX – Standard. Explosion-proof heaters are used in many industrial or commercial applications that are classified as hazardous areas. Flexible silicone heaters are resistant to permanent temperatures up to 200°C, with self-adhesive foil 180°C should not be exceeded. The humidity generators of the HGC series enable the automatic control of relative humidity in the range of 5 % to 90 % in small and medium-sized closed measuring chambers. The humidity generators can be connected to the measuring chambers of many DataPhysics Instruments systems. They can also be combined with laboratory measuring instruments of other manufacturers. The HGC 30 can generate humidity not only by utilising ambient air and the built-in heatable water container, but also via an external gas supply with compressed air, nitrogen, and argon. Variable flow rates between 70 and 3500 ml per minute are possible. The integrated pressure regulator is specially calibrated for nitrogen and argon.

Dehydrating breathers are being used for liquid immersed transformers in order to protect the insulating liquid and prevent the harmful moisture absorption from ambient air, which occurs when the load on the transformer fluctuates.The dehydrating breather removes practically all moisture from the air that flows through it into the conservator when the transformer is cooling down. This largely prevents any reduction of the dielectric strength and the formation of condensation in the expansion tank. Thus, the dehydrating breathers increases the operational safety of transformers.

The compact electrode housings of our treatment stations are used for the reliable extraction of the ozone created by the corona treatment. Exhaust monitoring is an integral part of all corona stations and ensures that a corona discharge can not be activated without suction. The ozone is extracted by a pipe work and discharged to a safe height into the external atmosphere. To reduce the ozone load of the ambient air and comply with local environmental and health and safety regulations the extracted air can be passed directly into an ozone catalyser. Our ozone catalyser is a high performance filter unit designed specifically for ozone destruction in Corona treatment. Since ozone is extremely corrosive, all materials and seals used are corrosion resistant. The housing and all internals are made from corrosion resistant stainless steel.
