This ensures safe material transport. Special cellular wheel sluices are necessary for channelling the conveying material into the conveying stream, such as knife gates for derived timber products. Cyclones, filters or combinations of the two are used to separate the conveying material from the conveying stream. The economical conveying lengths lie between around 150 and 750 m. The loading of the conveying stream can amount to up to 5 kg/m³ and essentially depends on the grain size, density and form of the material to be conveyed.

With most materials the fine dust particles tend to attach themselves to the coarser ones and are thus separated with them. The loading of the conveying stream essentially depends on the grain size, density and form of the material to be conveyed. As a guiding value, one may assume 250 - 300 g/m³. Higher loads are possible under certain conditions. In cases where there is a high amount of material, e.g. in planing works, where the splinters are directly removed and transported away for further use, this can also be realised with a ring system and several containers. Switchover takes place automatically when the container signals that it is full. Containers are exchanged during operation.

MANTIS-ULV spraying systems for the economical application of liquids ULV stands for Ultra Low Volume, meaning particularly small output quantities. The ULV metering technology, in conjunction with Mantis rotary atomisers, achieves an ideal narrow droplet spectrum of 35-45 um, ensuring optimum surface wetting. With the BL industrial atomiser from Mantis, it is possible to generate approx. 30 million droplets from 1 ml of liquid. The rotary atomiser works without pressure, and the spray pattern is created by means of centrifugal force and using a specially developed atomiser disc. The droplets are deposited evenly on the surface by means of the vertical air stream generated by the rotation disc and gravity. SOMOS® RDM mobile dryers are designed for drying highly flowable, hygroscopic polymer pellets and regrind. They can be used flexibly as auxiliary units for supplying processing machines for moderate throughputs which is a particular advantage for frequent material changes. The mobile dryers, with their attractive, functional design, consist of a dry air generator and an insulated stainless steel drying bin. They are optionally available with an integral dry air conveying unit for automatically feeding the processing machine. The dry air generator uses the SOMOS® single chamber system making highly efficient use of desiccant. As a result, the desiccant can be regenerated quickly and energy-efficiently, providing cost benefits for the processor. The SOMOS® RDF dryer is used for drying hygroscopic polymer pellets. It consists of compact RDF modules which can be flexibly combined, are capable of autonomous operation and have drying capacities of 10 kg/h to 250 kg/h per module. The modules are available in 7 sizes with a volume of between 30 l and 600 l and a drying are volume between 10 m3 and 180 m3, each one being individually controllable by its own controller. Alternatively, when interconnected, they can be controlled using a common operator control unit. The humidity generators of the HGC series enable the automatic control of relative humidity in the range of 5 % to 90 % in small and medium-sized closed measuring chambers. The humidity generators can be connected to the measuring chambers of many DataPhysics Instruments systems. They can also be combined with laboratory measuring instruments of other manufacturers. The HGC 20 humidity generator can independently generate a dry air flow from the ambient air, using its integrated pump and the desiccant reservoir. Together with the heated water container, the desired humidity can then be produced. Afterwards, this air flow with defined humidity reaches the environmental chambers or laboratory equipment via the gas connection tube.
