Created from Skuff CBD sieved at a very low temperature, the Yellow is a resin resulting from a cold pressing in order to preserve the texture and the yellow color that characterizes it.

The pyrometric assemblies are perfectly suited for high temperature applications: they are complete measuring assemblies with a mineral insulated thermocouple or a ceramic insulated protection and equipped with an outer protective mechanical tube. They are fitted with electrical connection devices and mechanical fasteners. The ceramic sleeve authorizes temperature measurement up to 1600°C, even 1800°C in some cases.

The thermocouple probe is characterized by a fast response time and is perfectly suited for high or very high temperature operation. The temperature sensor is often delivered with a connection head (see photo opposite).

Vibraflame® is a range of cables designed to resist extreme temperatures ranging from -196°C to +1565°C.These fire resistant range of cables do not propagate flame and do not contain asbestos. They can be used as control, coaxial or power feed cables. Axon’ offer extension and compensating cables for thermocouples insulated with vibraflame® material and resistant to temperatures of up to 1050°C. These heat resistant cables can be made with nickel plated copper, nickel alloy, nickel chrome, iron, constantan, copper alloy, cupronickel for extension and compensating cable. They are insulated with a special combination of mica, organic polymers and fibre glass. Axon’ offers extruded flat cables with round conductors for any application requiring space reduction and temperature resistance. The round conductors are insulated with FEP or ETFE. These ribbon cables are characterized with their temperature resistance : -90°C to + 155°C for ETFE, -90°C to +155°C for ETFE insulated flat cables. They are highly resistant to abrasion and traction and have an excellent flexlife.They are available in 1.27 mm and 2.54 mm pitches.

For the bonding of thermoplastic textiles, the Triad Wedge Welding System is ideal for your in house fabrication needs to produce tents, tarps, awnings, flags, banners, liners, covers, curtains, bags, tubes, etc. The Triad can weld PVC, PE, PP, Urethane and many other weldable, flexible membranes. It can also weld supported and non supported material in thickness of 5 to 100 oz. and is designed to be portable, versatile and user friendly. HOW DOES IT WORK The welding of various thermoplastics occurs by a combination of wedge temperature, material speed passing over the wedge, and pressure of the pinch rollers. The material is placed between the pinch rollers and the hot wedge is inserted. Contact is made between the top and bottom of the material and a melting of the coating occurs with a certain speed of the material crossing the hot wedge surface. The pinch rollers then apply pressure to the melted coating to create the lasting bond.
