The rest pads can be used both as a stable and precise support and as a stop. The pin form of the rest pad also allows it to be used with components with constricted support points.

Note Rolled, high precision trapezoidal thread spindles. ISO trapezoidal thread based on DIN 103. The trapezoidal thread spindle is a transmission thread with relatively high friction. Standard thread forms are selflocking. This has the advantage that they generally do not need to be secured in the rest position.
