Two bearing flanges combined with a D50 type I aluminium profile tube (10050) form a feed roller (loadbearing roller). The bearing flanges are simply pressed into the aluminium profile tube. These can be used for many conveyance tasks. The bearing flanges have ball bearings and springloaded fastening spigots which enable transport rollers to be retrofitted into existing structures. A roller conveyor is created when several transport rollers are mounted in series. Two bearing flanges are required for a transport roller.

The containers are picked up by the in feed star wheel and transferred to the container table. The container rotation begins when they are positioned between container plates and centering bells. The speed of the feed roller is adjusted to the required label length for continuous web tension. A standard threading unit ensures optimal film feed. In the cutting unit, the labels are precisely cut while a PLC command and servo-motor provide an exact cut-off point. Two narrow strips of hot melt glue the labels together, which are applied by a heated glue roller to the leading and trailing label edges. The label with the glue strip on its leading edge is transferred to the container. This glue strip ensures an exact label positioning and a positive bond. As the container is rotated during label transfer, labels are applied tightly. Gluing of the trailing edge ensures proper bonding. From forging the pre-forms to manufacturing the ring blanks to ring rolling, we supply everything from a single source. Siempelkamp’s ring rolling mill manufactures seamless rings made of steel and special materials such as nickel-base, titanium, or aluminium alloys using maximum radial and axial pressing forces. The radial pressing force is hydraulically generated and applied to the part via a mandrel roll. Radial rolling is carried out by reducing the roll gap between the driven external roller and the mandrel roll. The axial pressing force is also hydraulically generated and applied to the part via the upper axial roller. Axial rolling is carried out by means of the vertical forward feed of the upper axial roller. A centring device provides for the correct position of the ring during the rolling process.
