Industrial pressure measurement covers a very wide range of gases and liquids. The physical and chemical properties of these products sometimes make them incompatible for contact with the sensing elements of pressure gauges or transmitters. In such cases the measuring instrument must be separated from the pressurized fluid by a system capable of transmitting the pressure to this instrument while isolating it from the fluid itself. All models are characterised by high energy absorption and they also unite the piston tube technology with the diaphragm seal perfected by ACE. This enables direct installation as end position damping in pneumatic cylinders at 5 to 7 bar or applications where deceleration needs to take placed close to the pivot point. They are maintenance-free, have an integrated positive stop and are mountable in any position. The option of a side load adapter allows impact angles of up to 25°. Thanks to their robust design and their durability, these miniature shock absorbers can be used for a wide range of applications. This bourdon tube pressure gauge with switch function (electrical contact device) has been especially constructed for the operation with diaphragm seals. A custom bourdon tube that is reduced in volume produces a very slight temperature error. Diaphragm seals with reduced diaphragm surface areas may also be used.
