Description
HAWKE 501/453/UNIVERSAL - the only "upgradable" Ex d gland in the world. It offers installers the unique opportunity to upgrade the diaphragm seal to a barrier type gland, whereby a seal is formed around each individual cable core. The HAWKE 501/453/UNIVERSAL Ex d cable gland is suitable for cables that exhibit "Cold Flow" characteristics. It provides a patented diaphragm seal on the cables inner sheath to avoid damage especially of soft and flame retardant cables. Available materials: Brass, Nickel plated brass, Stainless Steel 1.4404, V4A, 316L, Aluminum Types of Protection: Ex db IIC Gb, Ex eb IIC Gb, Ex nR IIC Gc, Ex tb IIIC Db Suitable for use in Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21, Zone 22 and in Gas Groups IIA, IIB and IIC.
