The use of aspheric lenses guarantees the best optical properties; protective glass cassettes on both the collimation side and the pressure seal below the focusing lens protect the optics from contamination. The technical design of the manual adjustment of the focus position is convincing by precision, the focus position can be precisely adjusted without tools via the generously dimensioned adjustment range of 20mm and can safely hold it without countering. The fast distance sensor allows precise control even when cutting the thinnest materials. Thus the FC1 offers excellent cutting performance at an interesting price.

The laser cutting head FC4 is predominantly used in medium power lasers machines, impresses with its slim design and the related low weight. The use of a deformable (adaptive) mirror is of great importance in this case, since no motorized lens adjustment for focus adjustment is required any more. The focus adjustment via adaptive optics above the focusing lens is fast, reliable and precise. Focus positions for a wide variety of materials can be determined, stored in the machine CNC and called up for controlling the optics as desired. The dynamics of the adaptive optics are also clear when piercing the material before the beginning of the cut – for a full stroke, only 0.2 seconds are required. Especially when cutting thicker materials, the time saving can be considerable. Our sequence-controlled system includes a precision welding head and precise cutting and positioning devices. The two integrated Hydraulic Shears and the strip clamps can be moved so that the leading and trailing strip ends can be fitted precisely. For those who like it less automated but more cost-effective, we have developed a simpler technology – using just one Hydraulic Shear and fixed clamps. The strip ends are positioned manually here – this is supported by an easily accessible hand lever to individually activate the pneumatic clamps. A double edge guide with vertical rollers centers the new strip and can be adjusted also decentral for alignment. The actual welding process is taken over by the operator himself.

The high-performance sewing machine from STATEC BINDER stands for precise and reliable bag sealing of woven PP, paper or PE bags. Two different variants can be used for sewing the bags. On the one hand there is the straight-line bag infeed, in which the bag is fed to the sewing head by means of a belt drive and then sewn at the upper end. The second variant is the bag edge folding, in which the bag is folded at the upper end when it is pulled in and then sewn. In order to change from one system to the other, it is only necessary to replace a simple device. The bag to be sewn is fed to the sewing machine via one of the two variants mentioned above. Depending on the sewing speed and performance, the stitch length is between 7 and 12 mm. A cutter at the end cuts the thread. The sewing head is driven by a motor with frequency converter. A big advantage over the drive via belt pulleys is a more precise adjustment of the speed.

ECOROLL's OMEGA system combines skiving and roller burnishing for machining hydraulic cylinders and cylinder liners. While the OMEGA skiving head cuts the cylinder's inner surface to the exact size and form required, the roller head burnishes it. The simultaneous skiving and burnishing process has almost completely replaced honing as the alternative machining process, since it is much more economic and faster. Thanks to its modular design, customized tools can be configured based on pipe quality and machining length. Sometimes for various reasons, tubes have to be skived and burnished separately or both processes have to be carried out one after the other.
