The pressure transmitter DMP 321 is the consistent further development of our in many applications approved DMP 331. It shows an improved signal behavior and sets new standards in the industrial class. Its metallic diaphragm made of stainless steel (1.4435 / 316L) offers a good corrosion resistance in many industrial processes. DCT 531 with RS485 interface uses the communication protocol Modbus RTU which has found the way in industrial communication as an open protocol. The Modbus protocol is based on a master Slave architecture with which up to 247 Slaves can be questioned by a master – the data will transfer in binary form. The pressure transmitter DMP 331 can be used in all industrial areas when the medium is compatible with stainless steel 1.4404 (316 L) or 1.4435 (316 L). The differential pressure transmitters of the PD-39X series measure the pressure difference indirectly using two absolute pressure sensors. The dual-sensor design with numerical differential formation also outputs the line pressure values via the digital RS485 interface and guarantees a high overload resistance. The additional analog current or voltage output is primarily used to output the differential pressure range, which is freely rangeable within the line pressure range.

Model number 8201 precision pressure sensors are robust, economical, and are available in standard measuring ranges. Their good technical specification and high reliability make them optimum for measuring pressure in all fields of machine construction, process technology, as well as in measurement and control technology. The pressure transducers are easy to handle and immune to shock loads and vibrations as they are designed without moving parts. All pressure transducers without an internal amplifier have a standardized output signal of 1.0 mV/V. This enables the user to change a transducer in a measuring chain as liked without following readjustment of the electronic. Customized designs are available on request. High-precision pressure sensors from the 8201 series provide exact measurements while exhibiting very little sensitivity to mechanical stresses. Their application therefore goes well beyond research and development laboratories. They are also outstandingly suited to industrial use in quality assurance or for measurement and control tasks in production. Their robust mechanical and electrical construction guarantees good long-term stability and high reliability, while being resistant to aggressive media – which can be measured in liquid or gaseous states. The structure of the sensors includes no mechanical moving parts, which is why they show so little sensitivity to impact and vibration. The Suvis GmbH offers flat pressure sensors (see photograph), which we produce ourselves and which can be used for classical static pressure measurements on solid surfaces like automobile frames. The flat pressure sensors are applied especially in cases where one cannot place a borehole in the respective surface. Hence, flat pressure sensors represent “transportable” static pressure boreholes, which one can glue on the surface of the flow body. The photo shows typical flat pressure probes. Typical dimensions are 17 mm (diameter of the flat disc) and 0,5 mm as diameter of the pressure borehole. The disc consists of bronze, while the measurement tube is made of high quality steel. The sensor model 8228 with its measuring accuracy of 0.05% F.S. (for the measuring ranges ≤ 1 bar, the measuring accuracy is 0.1% F.S.) ideally suited as a reference sensor. The compact dimensions, the robust housing and the industrial-grade output signal result in a very wide range of applications. All components in contact with media are made of stainless steel. An integrated measuring amplifier converts the measuring signals directly into interference-free voltage signals or current signals that can be transmitted over long distances. With the „gage“ measurement type, the pressure measurement is carried out against the ambient pressure, the sensor has a bore that is protected against ambient influences to compensate for the ambient pressure. With the „Absolute“ measurement type, the applied pressure is measured against an enclosed vacuum; this measurement type is available from the measuring range 0 ... 250 mbar. The electrical connection is made via an M12 x 1 connector.

The PPS Aerostrip provides a simple and convenient replacement for traditional pressure tapping or pressure-sensitive paint. It is a low profile, rapidly deployable air pressure sensing strip for aerodynamic measurement and surface optimization for motorsport and aerospace applications. The AeroStrip consists of an extremely thin strip of sensors that can be applied, and reapplied, non-destructively to test surfaces for pressure measurement due to reusable masked adhesive backing. The CTA TactileHead is a width adjustable pressure measurement and mapping system for quantifying pressures exerted by headphones, earmuffs, headbands, and more on various head sizes. A high-resolution Conformable TactArray sensor is molded onto the curved area around the ear of the mannequin head, while another high-resolution TactArray sensor is mounted to a flat plate on the other side of the head to provide a controlled comparison.
